i've looked for years trying to find something about the baby grabbits. FINALLY i got one off of ebay and now i am seeing the commercial. me and my lil brother thought we were going crazy too!!! thanks for the awesome video!! you have no idea!
Damn, I meant the "Grabbits"...see? I never saw it before. Some of you living in other areas didn't get every featured commercial on national feed or the youtuber was able to view them. Where did you get these videos from, the local CBS station or by chance laying around in your home for 20 years?
Oh AA, don't forget to post one clip that features your local CBS station logo, those bumpers are fun to collect & display on youtube. I call it "local pride" to show to all where you're from. +
I never seen the "baby rabbits" before on my local affiliates (KCBS & KECY) but remembers the Honeycomb kids club with the robot friend. "Honey comb sweet, what a treat, tastes so good, can't be beat".
My Mom grew up in the 60s can relate to the Golden Grahams TV ad jingle: "Oh those golden grahams, those golden grahams, it tastes so good, tastes so sweet, the brand new cereal that can't be beat". Why I'm able to memorize cereal ads to stick in my head today like buried coins in sand? +
I knew Grabbits existed. I knew I wasn't crazy. I really started to believe I was going insane. You can't find anything ( I mean, anything) about them on the internet. It's so frustrating because I couldn't get that song and that voice out of my head. This is literally the only evidence I have (even on Youtube).
Pointless commercial recording really does pay off. Nothing is meaningless if it preserves memories. That you for helping me.
There's a 99.99999999999999999999999% chance I was watching Garfield and Friends on Saturday morning 3/25/89. Actually, I don't think I ever missed a Saturday morning. It was my favorite Saturday morning cartoon show.
I met Actress Victoria Jackson, from Saturday Night Live, who was the voice of Penelope The Cat from Garfield and Friends. Do you remember The Great Space Coaster?
The Great Space Coaster? Sounds very familiar. I can't remember. I would if I saw it. I mean if I were to see the episode again I'd remember it. It's been years since I've seen the show so I can't remember everything off the top of my head. Victoria Jackson from Saturday Night Live? I always imagine she's a real nice person. And I can see her doing cartoon voices as well. I think I remember Penelope the cat.
The Great Space Coaster was a 1980's puppet tv show which had Puppets Gary Gnu and Goriddle Gorilla. And 3 human teenagers in a rock band named Fran, Danny, and Roy.Comedian Victoria Jackson from SNL had a very high pitched voice as Penelope, The Cat on Garfield and Friends. She came in the show's 5th season around the year 1993. Penelope ,The Cat lived in an Italian restaurant on Garfield with a lady named Mamma.
Oh my gosh I remember that Garfield episode! Sheldon tries to finally come out of his shell but it turns out there's only another shell underneath. But then he sees a wolf or something trying to cook an animal and he says "Well I guess there's worse things to be than...an egg!"

I really loved Garfield and Friends in the 2nd season back in the year 1990 when CBS extended the show from a half hour to a whole full hour! Do you remember The Great Space Coaster?
This can't be from March 26 or April 2 since Garfield and Friends did not premiere on CBS until September 17. Maybe it this was taped in either March or April of 1989.
