  • @lifeshort great reply see you have brains aswell lol

  • Chris sold this bike a few years back. Best place to look for a bike is to look on the forum of the Aircooled RD Club

  • a very beautiful example sounds great and i can almost smell the 2 stroke,do you still have it ? im looking to find one but theres not a lot to look at...if you know anyone who`s letting one go i`d be very interested

  • its a cracking bike mate and dont worry about the faggot who says youve got to lose weight it sound magic .

  • did you say they make them in the UK and not Japan?

  • I bought mine in 1978 new for 1000.00

  • Whose Chris Bennett ??

  • I have taken ride rd400 30 years ago

  • ah the smoke the sound the power of a 2 stroke sure miss my rd 400

  • Very interesting. You should join the aircooled RD club.

  • Chippenham eh? I'm also from Chippenham. I'm building some one-off tuned length expansion chambers for a friend's RD125, hence youtubing RD videos.

  • dreamful two stroke sound!!

  • that's a stunning bike you have there mate !

  • @farmersti cheers

  • smoke bomb and noisy, I sold my Two stroke after my jacket and the rest of my clothes smelled like Castrol, then my house stunk like it too.

  • @SingJiya better that than curry.......

  • @jimbothegarbo Curry, is the #1 spice in all the World, the Amerca's eat Curry like it was Pussy. It makes more money than Gasoline. You know nothing about my Country and Culture!

  • I had a stock 75 B with dual coils, love it.

  • Bet the neighbours just Love him !.

    sounds like early morning...

    Great bike though.

  • great bike i had 1979 rd 400 e,disagree with the comment about the brakes though,by modern standards they werent that great, needed another disc

  • you need to lose some weight!!

  • @cearza LOL!! Yep. Thickburger motherfucker.

  • Check out my 1974 RD350. It has the same colors.

  • Get in ! nice mate

Love the doves in the background before them spannies kick in!

    Timeless

  • Hey fatty, nice bike. lol.

  • LOL .....it's the jacket that

    makes him look fat.

    That's a superb RD400...absolutely

    stunning.....sounds spot on.

  • nice sound

  • Great bike, mine was RD 250, summer of 1978 and dog's bollocks, if you had one you'll remember all the Honda Dreams, GT 250's, KH's and the rest, they didn't come close to the RD, acceleration was blistering and it had brakes & handling to match, easiest bike in the world to ride.

  • @jixuscrixus Oh dear. The KH, GT and RD were so close to the same performance it did'nt matter. I had an RD but being 4 stone heavier than my mate he pissed all over me on his KH.

  • beast sounds nice ticking over

  • allspeed pepes if i am not mistaken

  • correct. They are new. They still make them here in the uk

  • those r some nice pipes on that, aftermarket i know, very nice bike

  • A beautiful example of a RD.

  • Yes it is mate. Draw a line across the south of England 80 miles to the due left of London to find Chippenham

  • I loved my RD-400 and RD-350. They were like rubber bands. Nothing could beat me off the line. "TWANG" and they were gone. And yes, they were the best sounding two-strokes ever made. Now I'm an old codger riding a Harley 1200 Sportster (sounds cool with the hot cam) but I'd love to have my RD-400 again.

Was this video shot in the Southwest? I heard a Mourning Dove in the the background like we have in West Texas.

  • Heck! Is this England?

  • That's a collared dove, bloody pesky things ..... where's me air rifle !!!

  • Sounds EXACTLY like the doves we have in West Texas (without the Brittish accent) :)

  • Shoot the bstds or at least smoke them out :-)

  • Sorry i have to disagree with that comment, I think most people would put the Kwaka 2 strokes as the best sounding bikes, i love the old 2 strokes but me old KH 400 really sounded the nuts.

  • Excellent stuff....The aircooled RD club is having its rally at Ashbourne in Derbyshire, UK, on 13/14/15 July 2007. Biggest RD get together in the world. Over 130 RD's on the Saturday rideout in 2006.

    Check out the club site.

  • What is the website name?

  • wow, i love these bikes, soo meaty sounding for a 2 stroke, and boy do the scream when u open em up!!!!
