Look the extended Fuselage,the Nose...and specially...the BURNERS! A-7 haven't...yes they were MiG-15s and the more important thing...A-7 Wasn't Operational during the Cuba Crisis...
Offcourse you cans see in the F-8 rdinance 4 AIM-9Bs and those A-7 can't carry 4 AIM-9...
Those look more like A-7s, the subsonic counterpart of the F-8. If you do some resrach, you will find the F-8 wing detached in the front and pointed upwards to facilitate a higher angle of attack for take-off and landing configuration. Also the fuselage was notably longer to accomodate the afterburner tailpipe. I know this because I actually read the manual and spoke with the pilot of an F-8 in 'Nam, my former flight instructor.
These are F-8Ds from the simulator "Wings over Vietnam". It is a survey sim by a small development team with limited time, so they may not have modeled the movable wing. This simulator also lets you fly the A-7, which indeed does look very similar to the F-8.
Actually I was using WoE in the Vid..btw those aren't the Stock ones....TMF Job for SFP1 and...yes both versions including the Super TMF's(you should try this one...it already have the Fuel Probe!) f-8 Series have the movable wing...
