I see tons of comments, with such arrogance and not very valid arguments about how you relate and downtalk other games. Games comes to a personal choise of what interests, it's not all about the graphics. Watching gameplay for guild wars is meaningless - the true beauty of this game is the strategys/unique skill system and the satisfaction of making effective skill builds. If you enjoy MMORPGs, this is simply a must buy. No monthly fees makes it amazing value, too.

there is one thing allmost ALL players on games like wow do not understand and that is that guild wars is not about leveling its about the storylines and when ur done u farm shit and look awsome

Because levels means little in this game. This game is "end-game" from the moment you start it, if you can wrap yourself around the idea that things doesn't get "outdated/obsolete" after a month, and is in fact useful at all times, then fathom that this game is as far from WoW (or any generic mmo) you could possibly find.

The biggest difference is probably that, even with equal gear, if you're not skilled, you'll still die.

the graphics is a different style of animation taht personaly they are very good...a lot o f colors and wonderful world designing..i prefer them than l2...l2 has no movement and colors its like an image...and im also playing l2 :p

im playing warhammer online. im gonna not say its better than wow or gw but its far more pvp based and rewarding towards pvp. its fun to lvl not just pve grinding and allows you to particpate in big battles.its far more fun for me and many others agree.

Umm you are right if you have no job or your a kid that doesnt ever go outside. If you have a life and/or work it takes way longer than 4 weeks. Wow is fun as hell especially at lvl 80 with so much content opened up. Flying is very cool especially dive bombing someone as a druid.

I would like to give GW a try though as it does seem to have some cool features.

look at the point of leveling you are right.but wow is more pve style...you have pvp only at battleground and arena...its not like lineage that you can have pvp at the whole world.if you have paly l2 you can understand what i mean....peace

Warhammer online had so much potential but it failed so hard when it added its arena's. The world itself is like a desert with absolutely no players to be found anywhere. The only pvp it has is in the arenas which is lame as hell. The combat is very cool but having less than 300k players and dropping fast does not bode well for the game. It is a sinking ship in the MMO ocean.

You need to have the ranger profession. As your pet grows in level its names change but I think you can change it to your custom name. I only started playing Guild Wars maybe 3 weeks ago. Am level 14 Necromancer/Ranger :P

Yes it is, but you can only meet players in towns and outposts. You can make party's in the towns. With those party's you can enter the map, where you can do the missions of the story or just do side quests.

Yes.. as long as u equip comfort animal, which most rangers don't.. having a pet and being able to resurrect it means taking up minimum 2 spots on your skill bar
