Have you played it? It's hard... what you are seeing is like the normal difficulty... Theres hard, very hard and super hard. Bowsers castle super hard=hard as fuck. And the mario things on the screen make it harder.

I like the other advertisement for this game. (The one with the two guys! X3) But this one show's you that if they can do it anyone can. It's more for people that are starting DDR and Stepmania that like Mario. It's not a must have unless you like Nintendo.

When something is childish, it is catchy for Japanese. Japanese regard catchiness is more important than coolness. Do you know J-POP musics? The keyword of J-POP is "catchy phrases and catchy melodies" They don't catch your musical sence, but your heart. Japanese catchiness is like that.

But I think Japanese people like something cool much more. The trend may be now "cool".
