Here's the deal folks-- China is still behind the U.S. and the West but is catching up fast. This is the fight that's going on in the Rep Party. Do we stick to conservative principles across the board? Or do we shift Left in selected areas?

To answer that question we need to understand why so many swing voters abandonded the Reps since 1992 (remember, Bush won by the thinnest of margins).

teddy; Actually, most presidents get elected to a 2nd term (I think only 4 have not) and if the economy turns around Obama will win easy. For Reps to oust him, they need to convince voters:

-that most of this spending is being wasted

-too many irresponsible people are being bailed out

-stress that tax hikes hurt economic growth and that, over time, Obama's policies are fiscally ruinous

-Find a charismatic candidate (either female or non-white) to bring back all those swing voters.

The rich people already pay 40% of the taxes and the small company's who make $250,000 will now taxed to the point of having to lay off workers and even close their doors permanently.
