  • GO HEELS

  • i heard he tried to get on the basketball team but didnt make it

  • yes, that was true. But he was the best Damn ram. Jason i know you're some where celebrating with Eve Carson. Champs 2009!

  • Google: Ray of Hope ESPN. Great piece on a great Christian.

  • A heartbreaking event. As an LSU fan, I know these guys are truly the unsung heroes of the athletic events. They work very hard to keep the crowd into it.... From what I've heard, this was a really great kid. Our hearts go out to the his family and the great Tarheel Nation.

  • jason was a great guy i always wanted to be him he was my hero glad to know were he's at now go tar heels

  • RIP Jason Ray. Miss you so much. 1985-2007. NEVER forgotten.

  • The Tar Heel nation misses and loves you Jason.

  • R.I.P. Jason. All Tar Heels love you.

  • RIP Jason. #1 Carolina fan

  • Thanks for your attempt to honor Jason, but you left out his true, primary passion, and that is the person of Jesus Christ. It is because of Him that Jason was so spirited, humble, and charismatic - even in the accounts of friends and family. More than the Tar Heel Nation grieves.

  • You're right. I had read that he was a committed Christian, and I should have thought to mention that in my video. I am sure it is a comfort to his friends and family (and many of us who never actually met him) to know that he is with Jesus now.

  • Wish I could make the memorial service, but there's a bunch of mascots planning a charity event soon. I'll post details once they make a firm date!
