Though the salughter at karbala was a heart wrenching tragedy, but it was something that had to happen. The dispute between Husain and Mawia was for power and it could have been settled by election, but the only way muhammad had taught his followers to settle the dispute was by violence and the violence they used even against his own family members. Even before this tragedy happened, muslims went to battles of succession, twice.
One battle was fought between ali and aisha; the other was between ali and mawiya. Muslims were unable to resolve any dispute peacefully as Muhammad had taught them ways of violence only.
Conclusion: the intolerant, violent, and hateful teachings and policies of Muhammad led to the slaughter of his own family members by his own follwers at the battle of karbala. "YOU WILL REAP TOMORROW WHAT YOU SOW TODAY".

Audhubilah! Show me a verse where Allah subhana wa taala tells you to call upon others!? Rather, you will ONLY find verses telling you to NOT call upon others as surah fatiha clarifies to you (and many others):
"You (Alone) we worship, and You (Alone) we ask for help (for each and everything)."
ALLAH ALONE! Those whom you call on can neither hear you, and if they were to hear you they couldn't help you.

@mali14125 No problems with tawassul with the precence of both (in this case the whole humanity)..
The problem is when you call on people who are not here, either dead or in another place where they cannot (and pls refer to Quran 35:14) hear you. You are giving them the attributes of Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala.
