  • i like ur voice

  • To all the people asking 'Is it free' go to this link and look at there free products comodo (dot) com

  • COMODO all the Way!!!!

  • hey langguy , do you work for comodo ?

or are you a admin or mod in comodo ?

  • Comment removed

  • wow I'd like to have it

  • Thanks for the vid, but why at the beginning do you proclaim that you have something 'special'?

  • @TotallyPuddled becasue Alpha version of software are rarely made public and you guys got to see something that most people never see.

  • @languy99

    Ahh, I see..

  • where to download Comodo Internet Security 2011 ALPHA ?

thank reply.please list the download link.

  • @tan1234wakaka from the forums

  • it free?

  • @tan1234wakaka yes it's free.

  • Where can you get it?

  • They need to add in a Norton SafeWeb or McAfee siteadvisor type of web link checker. But I like the new interface so far..

  • @spededpat Thats why you have wot.

  • where can i download this beta? my version of comodo has crashd and dont work annymore.

  • will this version once released and fully complete be able to score 250 on the leak tests? i figure it would since this new comodo has had some major internal changes.

  • Will they be adding website blocking and ad blocking?

  • @unknowdude123 no, ad blocking can be done using other means ( ad block plus, etc) and there are other products form comodo such as verification engine that work at blocking websites, along with WOT, and built in browser features.

  • @languy99 I know that comodo is free. But when I pay for an antivirus suite, I'd like it to do it all..instead of installing a bunch of other applications like WOT. Does Comodo clean tracking cookies?

  • @spededpat comodo system cleaner does. Comodo is about the mindset, instead of making take everything in a suite they make individual programs, that way if you want a system cleaner they have that, if you want security they have that, if you want a program manger they have that, and so on. You can pick and choose.

  • im extremely excited for this release. it seems very promising. comodo just keeps improving their suite and is the best suite out there. they have the lastest and greatest technologies built in.

  • what is this?? anti virus??

  • beautiful video languy, thanks for sharing it, i was wondering how cis next version will look like, thanks to you i can see it, i m waiting eagerly to try beta, its nice to see that cloud scanner is included in it, waiting to see new additional internal changes.

  • they should add cloud anti virus in it

  • @nsm0220 they are (and technically it is already there right now) along with cloud behavior blocker.

  • Comment removed

  • @nsm0220 What is the benefit of "cloud", I havent done much research on that yet.

  • @spededpat cloud signatures (signatures as fast as possible to you), cloud behavior blocker ( files are run on servers, so your computer is protected, and does not bog it down), cloud trusted files (keep the suite small while having a big database of safe files).

  • @languy99 Do you have any information when will come out Beta version?

  • @lukica11 I don't, if I did and we were told not to tell you I would tell you I can't say but I have no clue what to ever. sorry, but I expect it soon enough.

  • I'm glad to see they're keeping themes. Except the default looks alright, isn't the alarm red anymore.

Not that aesthetics matter... Mostly I'm using a theme so the buttons in the upper right are bigger. A 1080p 15 inch screen means things are tiny.

  • @languy99 thank you for your reply.i love this program and will continue to stick by it.what i thought was weird is that comodo usually prompts for a restart when an attempt to uninstall takes place.dont really know what this guy was trying to prove but anyhow im loyal to the comodo group and will stick with their products.when will v5 be available?all the best to you and thanks again.

  • hi languy.have comodo fixed the critical issue concerning the sandbox?i have just seen a video on the malware research groups website and it does clearly show a rogue application which i know as windows protection suite although it goes by several other names escapimg the sandbox and uninstalling comodo.it then installs itself on re-boot.this is a very serious security issue.apparently this exploit has been known to the comodo group for several months but hasnt been fixed.thank you.

  • @MrArnold1972 it has been fixed in version 5. The thing is that it was not the rogue that did it. What it was as their script. What they did is ask windows to uninstall CIS and becasue CIS trusts windows it let it. Then their program installed the rogue. Scripts will be check and also there will be an uninstall window when you try to remove CIS. At least this is what I know but we will have to wait for the beta version.

  • Thanks for sharing.

  • awesome!

  • Cool! I wish I could test it also! Looks very improved!

  • i don want it to fail, gogogo comodo, the interface is so NICE,just worries about the protection and resource usage

  • make a video that shows the design of defence, firewall and antivirus alerts, notifications of the new cis 5.0, pretty please :P

  • Do you have any idea when the beta will be released Languy?

  • Special people :-) lol....

  • the best is getting better i don know why more people is not using comodo its hands down the best thanks for the preview languy

  • Will the protection be better in this version?

  • @arminkosten yes much better things are really improved.

  • I don't like the shield. It's look like GData. I have suggestion, though. It would be cool if the shield in taskbar menu would change according to computer security status (like in Norton or MSE): green - safe, yellow - warning, old signatures, red - threat found.

  • Maybe the new COMODO icon looks like McAfee

  • Is it coming out this fall?

  • do you kno win the beta test come for us

  • its rumored this will have a behavior blocker... is this true? Hope so. It will make Comodo way better than 3/4 of the paid AV's with either Nod32 or Kaspersky still ahead.

  • @jerenator69 yes, it will be a cloud behavior blocker. Why cloud, well a few things the servers are faster then your computer so it will be much faster ( seconds to at most a few minutes), and it will be safer, that way possible malware will be run on the server instead of your machine.

  • @languy99 Wow. Comodo is going to wipe the floor with every single AV out there. Sandbox, Defense + cloud behavior blocker that wont slow you down, wow. I also think they they need the work out the kinks in version 4 before they mess with this. But hey, its free.

  • Wow, i love black theme for COMODO Internet Security 2010 Premium is free version?

    I cant wait!!! :DD

  • @Eragon86micky oops 2011* xd

  • @Eragon86micky yes there will always be a free version from comodo.

  • @languy99 oh thanks ^^

  • The COMODO 4.0 already evolved a lot, but this 2011 is very beast when launching the final version, I'll certainly use it

    Thanks Languy99

  • Does Comodo depends on cloud? I mean if I don't have an internet connection would i be still protected even proactively? thanks in advance.

btw nice preview, can't wait for this release!

  • @AaronKatrini41 you will have an option. You can make it a totally cloud AV or you can have the signatures on your computer, how ever you want.

  • @languy99 so, if I update it regularly offline I'm still protected, right?

  • @AaronKatrini41 how can you update something offline?

  • @kbr247 you download the product updates and then you install them. For example if you want to update Avira AV you go to avira.com and then you download the update files and after that you install them. (I used avira as an example because i know that comodo is not offline updateable)

p.s.: if you don't understand me than do a google search for a better explaination. :)

  • Comment removed

  • BTW, that interface from the summary reminds me of avast! 5 for some reason.

  • The new icon looks like gdata

  • @ahmeeeeeeeeeeeed yea if you make the C a G then people will think its GData lol

  • @jerenator69 not really the Gdata shield is made of the G with silver and rivets. The new comodo shield is a total red shield with a white C and slight silver on the outside. They look close but not that close.

  • Comodo is changing from red to black GUI's?

  • @TheCanadianToast I'm not a huge fan of the black, but do like that the amount of red is toned down is this version of the GUI.

  • If you use virtual machines so much be sure to take a CPU with acceleration for that :)

  • looks very sexy

  • I cant see Global rules in Firewall?

  • @lukica11 it's there, I just did not open it.

  • Great to know about CIS 5! It seems great! Very nice review! Thanks very much for showing us this spetacular suite!

  • Nah, i like the v4 icon better, but the interface is pretty cool. And that "game mode"! HELL YEAH!!! Finally i can play games without Comodo's annoying pop-ups. A positive surprise for me!

  • Will Comodo update their free versions of Anti-Virus and Firewall to the new interface, new mechanics (if there is any) and the game mode?

  • @adam1611 yes they will, you will always have the best protection even in the free versions.

  • @languy99 Comodo is really generous compared to other companies :D

  • This is looking very promising. I like that they have introduced a Game Mode now. Roll on the public beta :D

  • CIS2011 looks great. I love your videos.

  • Any support for IPv6, yet?

  • @ausaitis Pretty sure it will be there.

  • Comment removed

  • upgrade your pc? you mean a brand new one lol the 2011 looks nice, they have made great improvements in the past year since version 3 . i am really impressed with comodo considering it is a free product. high five!

  • @wcoldschool well right now I got a older dual core intel overclocked with 2GB ram. I want the new AMD 6 core, with 8-16GB ram that of course will be overclocked too plus tons of other fun things. When I do build it I will post a video of it.

  • @languy99 rite on sounds like a nice build. i will be looking forward to the video on it

  • @languy99 why don't you just buy a pc, instead build one?

  • @BasHoebenDeMan1 The computer price will be overall much lower. And the possibility of personalization and choice of the specifications. Probably this will be what languy will say to you.

  • @BasHoebenDeMan1 because I like to build mine and I like having very specific parts. Also my PC is water cooled for high overclocking ability while being almost dead silent.

  • Beautiful GUI!!!!!!

  • Please test Trustport 2010. Av-comparitives says it's the best in proactive/ retrospective tests. Report just came out today.

  • Nice review, it's good to see what is upcoming and to see that development is ongoing. Thanks languy99. Keep it real and power to ya.

  • who cares what anybody thinks... just do the review

  • to languy's defense matt has lost his consistency, i guess from being busy, but also ofcourse your gonna have people calling you (languy) a comodo "fan boy" because you pointed out that your an admin on their forum, but i don't have a problem with any of that, it's just harder for some users to feel your legit because of the admin thing i guess. i still wuv your videos. :) sadly comodo crashes my vista OS so i can't use it. :(

  • More details that comodo is releasing: New additions are Cloud AV and Cloud Behavior Blocking done by CAMAS done in real time before it allows unknown files to run.

  • I love it, do you have any idea when it will be released?

  • 'm stoked! I can't wait to take it for a spin. If this is the matt ( mrizos) referring to, I left him a little message earlier. I think his popularity is slipping. I also asked if people are tired of matts excuses, why he can't do a reviews to come check out languy99

  • It definitely does look better. Comodo is on its way

  • can you test sophos 9.5 new verison?

  • yea the GUI is awesome!!!

hope the AV scanner is going to better and is always going to be that awesome!!

  • where can i download it?

  • U need to stop doing comodo products no offence but ur name is bad on matts forums because u cant be a mod for comodo and review them

  • @blzr1128 I really don't care what matt or his follows think of me. Seeing as he is letting you know who run his forum and abuse users and his power I don't think too highly of any of them.

  • @languy99 I understand and i think its shit that they look down on you because i love ur reviews and congrats on partner i was letting u know that ur not taken well in that community bu oh well everyone will have haters

  • will the alerts look different also?

  • @TheBuckbull yes, all of the windows look different. When everything is implemented I will make a new video.

  • Very nice GUI

  • Any idea when Kaspersky 2011 comes out?

  • @MadDogMeh in the USA, I would say at most in the next few months.

  • @languy99 lol, the second i posted that comment, i went and found your KAS 11 video lol, but thanks :)

  • @MadDogMeh

Kaspersky 2011 is already out, just do a google search......

  • better interface, but looks like notron to me. Don't know why though.

  • Hopefully they decide to combine the update bottoms, so that the program looks for both signatures and program updates, rather than having them separate in two different parts of the GUI.

  • Awesome !

  • @LethalSword ya the interface is awesome. I feel this is going to be the best version

  • Cool!

  • Now THAT is an interface.

  • oh and I love the new shield icon! way better than v4.

  • when is this released

  • @noidea2854 no release date yet.

  • @languy99 oh languy, how i can't wait, i love this GUI :D:D:D:D
