hey i need some help with buying the right crossbow for me, i'm 15 and want a decent to good crossbow to start with. the only problem is i don't know what pull back i can do, any help with maybe measuring it or should i just go in and test it at a store? thanks

@95blasterRider I hope you find your deer. In New Jersey you do not have to wear orange for bow season.

@95blasterRider bow hunters arent required to wear orange. there are few of us. only reason you wear it with gun is because guns travel a long range. bows dont. also there r more gun hunters. ive had ppl walk up on me with out seeing me during gun seaon and i was in almost ALL orange/

I am an avid hunter too. Live in NY but only hunted nj as a kid. Why do you need to kill more then 2 or 3 deer a year? 20 is a bit insane if you ask me.

@wowwowwow92 A couple things here, this landowner is over-run with deer and I donate to Hunters Helping The Hungry. I could have taken more because I still had family and friends asking for venison. As long as there are tables in need, the landowner wants me to provide the less fortunate!

try a lot of crossbows over the last 20 years ,but the parker and Excalibur are by far the best

@TheDogHunter22 Thanks man, I am using the Carbon Express Torrid SS, I bought 15 of them (5 packages) in the beginning of the season... a 3 pack is $12.95 at Walmart... I still have10 of them left, shot 23 deer with them so far, they are pretty tough and fly like field points... they have to be the best buy in archery!

Holy shit for real your putting the hammer down on the WHITETAIL. What are you using to hold your camera? And what kind of camera ?

@TheC4ranch I got the camera arm for the tree from the sportmansguide(.com) and the camera is a Sanyo 40X optical zoom (DCR-HC38). But if I was going for a new camera I would go for the Panasonic 70X optical zoom, they are around $250.00. You might want to check out the HD too, if you want to spend more. Or if you want to spend around a grand you can get yourself on of those pro camera's... I'd rather buy arrows, bolts and lumenoks instead of a top of the line camera. lol
