Hey may I ask what your real hair color is? Mine is jet black and I tried L'Oreal hi colors in red and it didn't go bright at all it went dark red so any tips/help?
i followed the same directions as she did and it came out a dark maroon. and then after the second time i stopped using the manic panic and it came out a lot better.and i naturally have jet black hair so for those of u i would suggest bleaching and then dying cuz it is sooo much easier i used the same products and had to dye my hair like four times to get her color.
Sorry if someone has already asked this, but how much manic panic did you mix with it? I have a friend who also did this and she said she mixed about a third of the jar in with the loreal so I was just seeing if you did the same thing before I go and do it myself :)
i used the loreal stuff. my hair was copper too and i used a 20 devel. and my hair is like bright red send me a msg and i'll tinypic a pic of my hair for you. but the thing i hate is the bleeding, i've had it for three weeks and touch ups are a bich D:
pretty! i dyed my hair using this a while ago. well not exactly this but the loreal hicolor hilights in red. :) i wanna try this now but i thought u r not suppossed to mix semi permanent with permanent?? cuz of the developer .? the semi permanent r not suppossed to mix with a developer.
@phillips267 I think it wil definitely look good, just be sure to mix it in with the 30 vol.
The reason I added the Manic Panic was because I wanted it to be redder looking, if you're just using the magenta than it will be in fact purely bright magenta :D

i just recently bought the Loreal HiColor Magenta and want to try it out. do u think it will look as good without adding the Manic Panic?
