Hey, I read in the comments that you use the G9 at 800DPI, whats your take on using higher DPI?

@ahsingjai I if were to use a very high DPI, it's usually paired with a very low value in-game. it all depends on the game. I actually try the extreme (3200 dpi + lowest in-game value) with any new fps title, then I work my way down until I'm able to turn 90 with a quarter swipe of the mouse while also being able to make small adjustments while scoped or zoomed with a sniper rifle.

I see sneak.source a lot when i'm playing bc2 and this guy is no joke, he has good skills. you will always see him with highest score, he will snipe your ass no matter what you do or which weapon you got.

How do you do that thing with the bolt action to skip the animation? just change weapons at a certain point when it's about to appear? Tried it with latest patch and doesn't seem to work so great.

@gingermadman I switch to my pistol and then back to my sniper. In the second clip, I was able to get a second shot off faster because I switched to a kit that was on the ground instead of my pistol. Since one sniper was a GOL and the other was an SV98 it made it a lot easier.

Good video, would have been better without the glitching. Why does everything blur when you turn? Like the awards and even the HUD. Did you add a filter, or maybe it is how you rendered it.

@n3cr0fil3 Throw and jump at the same time and you'll get extra distance out of it. It might take a little practice to get the hang of it but it can help out in a lot of situations.

@F1shybizniz I have a core i7 running at 4.2 ghz. And I run fraps using 1 core and BFBC2 runs on the other 3 cores. This can be changed your task manager. I found that this eliminated stuttering and jittering that I was getting while recording. I usually record 29.97 (though this video was recorded 25). I also set to record "half-size". My main drive is 4xssd in raid0 but I save my recordings to another raid0 array of two 512gb spinners. 12gb of ram help with after effects a lot, too.

@shiryu008 I used to use the GOL. Then after playing Vietnam and going back to BC2, I re-evaluated the SV98 after endless suggestion from players that I try it. After doing some research I found this one website that had all the statistical info on all the weapons. It turned out that the SV98 is the best weapon for switching kits and has the fast rate of fire of all the bolt action sniper rifles.

@Reiincarnation Though I don't get to fire that second shot any faster, there are advantages. For one, the gun doesn't block your view. And in most FPS games, your run speed while re-chambering is the same slow run speed as if you are zoomed in. So it in hinders your ability to run for cover quickly after you fire a shot if you don't quickswitch; that is, in most FPS games, not BFBC2. I've done it for so long that I can't break the habit. Oh, and there's the quickswitch to reload quicker

@R3DT1D3 If you fire a bolt-action, pick up another kit and then pick the recon kit back up the bolt-action will be reloaded. Standing on top of a dead recon's body with a bolt action therefore allows you to fire a lot of bolt-action shots in rapid succession by picking up the kit, firing, picking up the other kit and firing -> rinse and repeat.
