Peter Eastgate is a master when it comes to trapping. That being said, he did play relatively loose the majority of the tourney. But when you really think about it, he was catching good cards and getting maximum value out of his hands. His ability to get guys (and tiffany michelle) to commit chips WAY BEHIND is what did it for him.. I love the comments about him.. "That is a dangerous youngin"...

Eastgate is one cool customer. Players can't read him coz his cold as ice. He don't show emotions at the table is a good thing for him. He managed to suck out the players money when he had a good hand. Hook, line and then the sinker.

@2facedjames they were not idiots. They can't see peter's cards like you can. Sometimes you bluff when you have nothing because you think the opponent will fold. Although i will admit that he got very lucky having the best hand 4 or 5 times in a row.

i dont know how you guys feel. i really like eastgate and his poker style, but just this final table he got luck and sometimes insane luck. flops like gifts to him on all the big hands. thats what i felt all the way the whole session

Evryone saying Eastgate won because of luck is a not thinking. Yes he got very extremely lucky once or twice but that's NEEDED to win WSOP. He's just a great player cause he almost never looses a big hand. Saying he won almost every hand at the final table and made a set almost each hand is rubbish. They played for more than 15 hours!! They're not gonna show every hand just the big ones! He never lost any of the big ones cus he's good. I know a lot of people disagree but just think about it.

What a lucky piece of shit Eastgate was at this final table. He's a good players, but seriously, he hardly worked for that money. People just threw bad bluff money at him time after time after time and never learned...

...and don't even get me started on the lucky-ass cards. He had some good calls and leading raises, though, I'll give him that.
