exactly, and judging from previous versions of GT, the level of customization and tweaking is no where near of that of forza 3. That means gt5 isn't likely to be deeper than forza 3 anyway

great game but never will be better than Gran Turismo HANDS DOWN! GT5 isnt out yet and the prologue is already better in graphics & driving simulation. Plus their adding and have added breakable parts for the 1st time meaning you can damage ur car and pieces can fall off etc.. plus u have nascar, F1, imports, exotics, european cars, muscle, EVERYTHING! only thing left for them to do for the next game is to add Bikes !

well, i see where ur comin from, the 1st gt5 trailer gave us the 1st look, but then they showed a vid, not oo long ago at tokyo, i think, that showed damage in a race, but so far ALL damage shown in gt5 has been used with the new subaru impreza rally car, at the moment, im chosing between an xbox for foraza 3, or a ps3 for gt5, but foraza has awsome graphics and personally, i think they are better than wat gt5 has shown us so far, but it can all chang3, wow ive done 500 words in this coment, lol

i dont like the whole motion blurring thing... it's too forced on when you're talking about realism... i also have a problem with the lightning in xbox games ... for some reason EVERY xbox game has to have shiny surfaces.. lol

gt5 added cosmetic damage, not performance damage, you lose shells and parts of the car, Forza when you hit a wall you jack your suspension on that side your steering rack is damaged and what ever engine components are laid out on that side may be damaged limiting your cars performance

Seeing as it took GT almost 2 full iterations to decide to add cosmetic damage, and their devlopment process takes ages, I'm not holing my breath. IMHO I feel forza has a much deeper simulation experience than GT does. Forza lets you into the nuts and bolts of the car set up process adjusting the tuning and spec of almost every major component along your car

yh, lol it did take em a heck of along time, it better be worth it, ur right, foraza 3 has all those customization stuff in it where gt5 is just colour of car, then thats it, in gt4 u cudnt even chang the colour after u bought ur car

I know gt lets you tinker witht he set up of your car a bit, but, Forza goes into a part by part setup for engine suspension adn drive train, u can do ecu apping, set your shift points, and thats just the begining
