How long did it take you to learn the marimba part. I'm working on this myself, and it's definately got some problem spots that I see you had a tough time with it as well. Good work on quite a difficult marimba part compared to all the other parts.

Thanks. I'm trying to think how long. It probably took about a month. Probably less but to put the entire piece together with the ensemble, it probably took a month or more. Just out of curiosity, I've been trying to get my hands on the sheet music for the piece. I have the marimba part but I'm trying to get the whole score. Wondering if you may know how?

Excellent! I only wish there could have been close-ups of the other performers, like there was of the marimba player.

i agree. i was the marimbist and my dad filmed this. he obviously didn't focus enough on the other players especially for example in the solo section when everybody trades 4s.
