  • I have the Big Shot. I really like it. I feel like it's much more versatile than the other machines. Thanks for sharing what you have experienced.

  • Hi there, Thanks so much for posting this. I have a cuttlebug, but after 3 years of use, wanted to purchase some of the bigger Sizzix dies which won't fit in the cuttlebug. Finally I have decided to buy the Big Shot, and your video has helped me understand all the pros and cons of buying one.

  • You have done a great job in doing this review on both products and even other products which is an added bonus. Thank you for doing this video.

  • can cut fabric?

  • Thanks! Your video was very helpful :o)

  • Great video, are you still pleased with the Big Shot. I am thinking about purchasing a die cutting machine and wondered might be the most economical for a newbie. Does the big shot cut chipboard too? Thanks

  • @KimScrapper I didn't see a reply from the poster and did not know if you got your answer. I got my bigshot from Michaels using a 50% off coupon from A. C. Moore. (printed from the internet). It was only $50 plus tax. Yes it cuts chipboard. I cut my first cover for a little notebook for my daughter today and it cut the chipboard effortlessly

  • @walenihula Thank you so much for answering it for me. I live in Canada and don't have an AC Moore and Michaels won't honor their 40% off on these items so I am still looking for that deal I appreciate you letting me know and I think Big Shot is the way to go, thanks again

  • Thanks for the info, you answered many questions I have had.

  • Very helpful, I have the Spellbinders Wizard and I just don't seem to get it right. Really considering the Big Shot - thanks for sharing

  • Muchas Gracias!!!!Me encanto mucho su video me oriento,no tenia idea de cual comprar con su video en este momento se cual comprar.

    Gracias!!!!!!!

  • So do you (after having it for a while) still like the big shot better?

  • Thank you! When you are a newbie it's impossible to know what to get. A salesman convinced me that the cuttlebug was so bad and I ended up buying a machine new on the market called Joy Trouvaille from him. A waste of money. It takes forever to do anything because the handle will not move when you get midways and you are lucky if you get anything through. I'm sorry I didn't know about the Big Shot.

  • With the extended Cuttlebug plates, you can use the XL dies :)

  • this has really helped me decide what i want thanks

  • Not owning any die cut machine but in the market for one your video did help me a lot. This seems to be the most versatile machine. Thank you.

  • can u use the xl dies with Sizzix Big Shot Express ?

  • thnx 4 the film it dit help

  • thank you so much i just broke my sizzix big kick and was going to buy a cuttlebug to replace...now I love my xl dies...so you helped me I am going to get the big shot...this stressed me out! Thank you so much!

  • Thank you so much that help me a lot. I'm going with the Big Shot. Great job.

  • Wonderful video, very informative, thank you!!!

  • what maximum width of paper does each one cut/emboss?

  • Thank you so much saving me time and money. It looks like the Big Shot for me, too!

  • Thank you soooooo much i was getting crazy but this is sooooo clear, thank you!

  • This helped TONS!!!!!!!!! Thank youso much. I have the BS but thought about the CB way before my purchase...but this vid helped me make my decision last year !!! TFS this info and your experience. !!!!

    xoxo Jules:)

  • Great video. It is helping me a lot in my cuttlebug vs bigshot decision. I am glad I saw your very detailed video before buying

  • Thanks for taking the time to do the video, I want to get a machine and your video helped a lot.

  • Thanks for your helpful video. I just bought the Epic Six, thinking it was greater than both the SB and BS, but it's horrible! Will not cut any large Sizzix dies without a variety of shims and using the QK Cookie Cutter Dies, it almost cuts the cutting matt in half. I am returning the E6 tomorrow and looking for the BS. I just want one machine to do it all!

  • does the sizzix xl dies work in the cuttlebug also? I have the cuttlebug and want to get the Sizzix Bigz XL Die - Album, Brackets. Do you know if this will work in it or not?

    Thank you

    Amy

  • The dies will fit in the cuttlebug - but the extended cutting pads will not, but you can use the cuttlebug cutting pads, passing trough twice, moving the plates along the die without moving the paper or use 2 sets of plates. Hope that helps.

  • great video, die cutter is on my Christmas list, but I am searching for which one fits my needs best.

  • Thank you so much for taking the time to make this video....I had no idea i could run the big shot dies through the cuttlebug. Have a great day!!!

  • awsome info... thanks for this.

  • Thank you... excelent video...

  • I've had the Big Shot for a very long time. Mine is like an aqua color( Ellison's) before they bought Sizzex. I just love it, never had a problem. I use all different dies with it and they all work well.

  • I've wanted to get a Big Shot for a while now. I think I'm going to get one this year, lol. I just haven't because I have a cricut.

  • Thank you for your help with making my choices!

  • you could use 2 sets of mats with the long die in the cuttlebug i think

have fun with it it looks great

i love my cuttlebug and ihave the old sizzix die cutter which i love as it cuts metal which you cant in the rollers

    great video
