@fabiolas4 stock rearend! supposedly a 3.73 but from what ive heard its not. Like most people have told me "i changed out my rear end to a brand name 3.73 and it made one hell of a difference!!"

....my cousin has one of these, I tried to drive it with that Hurst Lightning Rod Shifter...which is 3 Shifters in 1...so it's kinda like a Make-Believe Lenco Pro-Stock Drag Racing Trans, I got like 2-Miles from his house & He was screaming "PULL THE F- OVER BEFORE YOU BLOW THE TRANSMISSION!!!" yeah...I'll stick with either the Muncie M22 RockCrusher 4-Speed Trans in the 1979 Camaro Z28 in my Driveway, or with the TH-400 Auto Transmission that's in the '74 Malibu Classic (also in my Driveway)
the trasmission lined up perfectly with the torque converter/flywheel, and it even sat on the stock motor mounts! it did require the 4 core radiator and the electric fans i bought off of summit to keep her cool though. also, i had to buy a pulley kit (i went all out and got the chrome serpentine belt kit) from march performance.
the only difference between oldsmobile small blocks and big blocks (as far as exterior dimensions) is an additional 2 inches of deck height. my 455 has 4.25 inches of stroke, which is why its so torkey! the swap wasnt too bad really, the only set back was the stock hood wouldnt fit with an air filter on, hence the 4 inch pin on cowl hood!
Youre lucky that stock 10 bolt that came from the s-10 didn't explode!!!! Better get a 12 bolt from moser.

How hard was the swap? Going from a SB to BB you must have quite a bit!
