@lewiss1100 Look, I'm sure you are perfectly decent, well meaning person, but do you ever listen to what you say? Clearly, if you have spent most of your life deluding yourself, then you will be unable to stop, I accept that, and I don't mean you any disrespect, but it is important for the younger generations to see just how ridiculous it is while they are still undecided - because, evidently, it is clearly very difficult to think cleary once your mind has becomed poisoned.
@RealiveProds I didn't get saved until I was 24 years old. I am 35 now. At the time I wasn't really looking for God, but God found me. Since that glorious day my life has never been the same. Now I have Jesus living in my heart & I feel His peace & Joy. The only regret I have is not accepting Him in my life sooner.
My mind was posioned by the lies & evil of this world, Jesus has set me free from all sin. Now I'm free to worship Him. And its my desire to take as many to heaven with me as I can
@lewiss1100 That must be nice for you. But ask yourself, if you really truly believed you were going to heaven, then you would wake up every morning hoping that this was the day you die, and you would never look left and right before you cross a road. This is why I think you are deluded because you have managed to rid your mind of all sensible logic - which is quite some achievement, I don't deny, but false nonetheless.
@RealiveProds I do hope everyday that the rapture of the church will happen. But I also, know that each day is a gift from God. As Paul said I am needed here to share the gospel with others. To live is Christ & to die is gain. I already recieved eternal life the moment of salvation. Jesus already lives in me. True the best is yet to come. But, I live each day to the fullest doing my best to please my Heavenly Father.
@lewiss1100 One more question. We now know that the brain makes memories by creating connections between neurons, right? So when you die, and your brain starts to decompose, every memory you ever made in your life will die with it. So, in the EXTREME unlikelihood there is an after-life, when you get there you will have no memory of who you are, who god and Jesus are, who any of your friends and relatives are, or any memory of anything you have ever done. Not so much fun now is it?
@lewiss1100 What you need to ask yourself is: Isn't your faith simply an accident of birth? If you had been born in Iraq, then you would singing the praises of Allah right now and looking forward to 72 virgins in the land of milk and honey. There have been nearly 10,000 religions INVENTED by mankind over the ages, what amazing luck you happened to have picked the right one! And if you can't see how absurd this is, then your brain is more than just washed, it's completely soaked!
@lewiss1100 I know, poking fun at religious people is just too easy - but why is it so easy? You can't open a maths book and poke fun at the ridiculous absurdity of a equasion, - why? - because it makes predictions that are VERIFIABLE! Only an idiot believes by default everything he is told until he sees evidence against it - a rational person believes NOTHING until he sees evidence IN SUPPORT of it.
@lewiss1100 What you have done is to convince yourself that you are in love with your invisible friend, and love causes the craziest and illogical things to happen to the brain - simply because the purpose of all species is to procreate, and for this reason, it invokes the most powerful behavioural patterns.
@RealiveProds God is love, so yes I strive to be more like Him daily. He first loved us & I gladly return that love. I do produce spiritual fruit as all christians should. Which is Love, Joy, Peace, Meekness, Longsuffering, Gentleness, Temperance.
As Jesus said we will know our fellow Christians by their fruits.
Without God in your life your not normal, but lost & dying in this world of sin. Only with Jesus by your side can you have life eternal
@lewiss1100 But you cannot say the same thing about me, because I don't happen to be in love at the moment, so my brain is functioning at its normal, rational level.
@lewiss1100 As a rational human being, I see all these crazy religions going on around me, and I have for the most part been very tolerant and respectful as our culture suggests, but the problem is, if the non-religious humans are to accept YOUR religion, then it must accept all others with similar evidence. This is where the problems start, because EVERY religion is hostile to ALL others. You may have chosen not to be, but to do that you must ignore certain parts of your bible.
@imsofly288 I agree, but technically speaking Buddhism is more a philosophy than a religion because they don't worship any gods. Buddha was the founder and I think was originally worshipped as a god, but not after his death.
@imsofly288 Basically, the poison of all religions (except a tiny few), is the bit where their scriptures say to kill people of other faiths - genocide is rife all through the Bible, Quran, and Torah, because they all think god is on THEIR side, and everyone else is a sinning heretic.
Now you are promoting cannibalism? You have issues man.
So the world is making lies... O_o ???
So what's the world's name? George, Benson? I didn't know the world was a dude that likes to tell lies. Thank you very much. You set me straight, next time the world come over to my house for a cup of sugar. I'lll kick is ass.
@lewiss1100 No I am the truth, Jebus was a hypocrite as was his dad (does that even count? I mean he claims he is the son and a ghost yada yada yada, maybe god has multiple personality syndrome compounded with paranoid delusion with a sprinkling of narcissistic rage....) he was also a plagiarized concept of dozens of other ass backwards beliefs littering the bronze age. at least when I say "I like cheese" I can back that shit up!
People believe that absurd story because it's in the Bible, and hence it must be true, like everything else in that book.
Interestingly enough people who have been raised to believe other religious holy books are 100% true are plain "wrong".
This proves that modern day people still are very much influenced by powerful myths and legends, which dictates much of their lives. Religion is used to fill in the void in the minds of people. This is also why many celebrities are worshiped liked gods.
Actually though, this just made me think something funny when Jeffrey mentioned 'magic heart attacks'. I noticed that in all these holy books gods never just erase mortals they're upset with from reality. They always kill them with some physical means, like a disease, a lightning bolt, drowning them in a flood.
I think that actually says alot about what I always figured god(s) are. Namely they are imprinting nature with a human personality. And then later generations pile on additional powers.
As for the flood story though... It's a derivative of a much older tale from inbetween the Euphrates and Tigris. There's been people living there from even the earliest ancient times, and way before the hebrew tribes, they told the story of a king that saved his family, palace staff and cattle from a flood by building a big boat when the rivers flooded. (As rivers do. (Which is also why river and coast dwellers all have flood stories.)
@whitefire1997 Yeah, of course! and why would it take him 7 days to make the universe. The all powerful, all knowing god is pretty stupid and not so powerful.
god is alien. life started on mars. god didnt like it. made a spaceship. transported every1 to earth and destroyed mars? <--- not saying i belife in that i dont belife in anything really. but it could happen
Pretty stupid story, until you consider the possibility that the story is symbolic of a vessel transporting genetic material from point A to point B. Science has a hard on trying to prove life once existed on Mars. Maybe that's where this experiment fucked up the first time, and Earth is the new lab. I definitely believe in the devil. The asshole is in the white house right now.
@LarryHarveyMusic lol your stupidity to justify this story amazes me...a vessel transporting genetic material from mars to earth? o.O
there is no consciousness while being a dna material how you think this "true" story came to us in the first place... and second of course science has a hard time to prove existence of life on mars some time in the past, because no one went to mars to fucking dig and search for evidences... you think a robot will dig up whole excavation complex?
@natesdevices He hates the democrat white house and believes in a mass government conspiracy involving aliens, life on mars, and the Devil - it's pretty obvious he's a conservative creationist to me.
@AntarcticW0LF -That's the truth. What seems impossible isn't impossible with God. This video also assumes alot @2:12 that mount Everest was the same height pre-deluge and post, but the fact is no height for a mountain is ever given the author inserts it, which is assumptions.
@ITNOJ1 So you are basically saying god used magic. I mean c'mon you seriously believe in a story that was written so long ago to be true? What if I told you the Easter bunny existed? Yeah exactly.
@elizalovebug19 lol Why the hell would god use a flood to punish people? If he could do anything why not just make the evil people disappear? Yeah exactly.
wow. you dont even know the dimensions of the ark in the bible. please do research, the bible states a few things wrong with your "logical" illustration at the end. 1, they didnt take insects on the arc. 2, they took two of every KIND of animal, not every animal (for instance, they took K9s, not dog, coyote, wolf, etc), 3, the flood lasted 6 months. and 4, youve got the dimensions wrong.
@blaq1991 Which version is it? This one "Take with you seven pairs, a male and a female, of all ritually clean animals, and one pair, a male and a female, of all unclean animals; also seven pairs, male and female, of every bird-to ensure that life continues on the earth. For in seven days I am going to send rain on the earth for forty days and forty nights." (Genesis Chapter 7 verse 2)
@blaq1991 Or this one? "And to him on board the ark went one pair, a male and a female, of all animals, clean and unclean, of birds, and of everything that creeps on the ground, two by two, as God had commanded....Those which came were one male and one female of all living things; they came in as God had commanded Noah...the water had increased over the earth for a hundred and fifty days." (Genesis Chapter 7 verses 15, 24)
@blaq1991 god, you went even listening were you, in the video he DOES mention taking only kinds and not literally every animal, that still leaves ridiculous amounts of species. An in the bible it says all that creeps on the ground, that includes insects. Stop selectively reading your holy books.
"Satan and his rebellious host will thus prove to have become the direct Saviors and Creators of divine man. Thus Satan, once he ceases to be viewed in the superstitious spirit of the church, grows into the grandiose image. It is Satan who is the God of our planet, and the only God."
--H.P. Blavatsky, highly-respected Illuminati occultist and author of "The Secret Doctrine."
(Quoted from her book: "The Secret Doctrine," pg 215)
"No one will enter the New World Order unless he or she will make a pledge to worship Lucifer. No one will enter the New Age unless they will take a Luciferian initiation."
--David Spangler, Director of Planetary Initiative, United Nations
(Quoted from his book "Revelation: The Birth of a New Age," pg 64)
(3) Please, I urge you to look into the nefarious Luciferian religious beliefs of the politicians & elites currently running our world. Watch YouTube documentaries: "The Age of Evil," "Lucifer god of the Illuminati," and "The Arrivals." They will explain it to you much better than I can. Also, do a search for the New World Order & one-world government.
Watch videos of our politicians calling for a "new world order" at:
h t t p : / / 911truthseeker . webs . com / thenewworldorder . htm
(2) But first, they have to construct a global secular society. Look at the back of a one-dollar bill. They hide their symbolism in plain view. You see the Illuminati pyramid with the Freemasonic all-seeing eye at the top (aka the "eye of Lucifer"). Underneath, it reads "novus ordo seclorum," which is latin for a "new secular order." Above the eye, it reads "annuit coeptis" which means "he favors our undertaking." ... "He" being Lucifer.
(1) WRONG. Look into the secret societies that these same politicians calling for a New World Order are apart of. They are Luciferian occultists with an agenda to abolish all spiritual and religious aspects of society to then usher in the antichrist who will rule over mankind through a tyrannical Luciferian one-world government. (This is their demonic religious belief and agenda.)
@mssiegelman How does it feel to believe in something like this? I would feel retardedly stupid if I belived a book that says stuff like this :D Whats your opinion?
And after the flood all the animals went back to their home continents and recreated their complex symbiotic ecosystems. The plants (millions of species of them) regrew from wasteland. Some of Noah's descendants looked Black or Oriental. This mass extincition didn't leave any trace in the geological record, etc., etc., etc.,
For the record, 6:21 doesn't say to NOT take food. It says, and I quote the NIV translation, "You are to take every kind of food that is to be eaten and store it away as food for your and for them."
If god made all the animals and all life in genesis, why didn't he just do that again, in the blink of an eye, being omnipotent and all, instead of going through this whole ordeal with the flood..? Just seems like a waste of everyone's time.
Why aren't there any of these about the Qur'an. I'm sure there is some equally retarded/fucked up stories in there. Atheists need to focus on more than just Christianity, though I know Americans deal with Christians much more than other theistic religions. (My bad if my assumption of you being american is wrong)
@N1NJ4lVl4573l2 actually, the Quranic scriptures use the same ancient texts as Judaism and Christianity. So Genesis is the same for them.
Admittedly, they make changes to ancient texts and leave out some, claiming the corruption of Gods word by the hand of mankind but for the most part they kept it relatively intact. It was after the "revelations to Mohammed" that they had their own particular contributions to the "Holy Word" as found in their specific tomes added to the Quran
@N1NJ4lVl4573l2 The Islamic faith is very structurally similar in relation to the other Abrahamic scriptures in an analogous to the relationship pf Christianity to Judaism.
Almost all ancient texts are used, with modifications to their scriptures as determined by new texts (ie they dont "change the OT" they simply write new texts, ie the Gospels, and add them in even while contradictory and then claim a "New Testament")
Islam basically did much the same by recognizing both.
@OkamsRazer I know most of what you said. I also have a Qu'ran sitting right above me on top of my grandfather's masonic bible. All I meant is that this guy could probably make some good videos about stories in the Qu'ran. As an Atheist I don't just think that christianity's myths are ridiculous I think all religions myths are. Though some are pretty interesting. That's all.
@N1NJ4lVl4573l2 of course however since most of his viewers are Americans and most americans are exposed to Christian dogma daily thats why he targets that primarily.
whats scary is that not only do people believe this shit with all their heart... but this is what the great country of the united states was founded on.... lies.... we're a ticking time bomb....
@Taylorhorton Actually a lot of our founding father's were Deists or Atheists such as Thomas Jefferson, Ben Franklin, James Adams and George Washington.
@N1NJ4lVl4573l2 hmm that I didn't know, thanks for the info! can you tell I've been brought up in a christian house hold.... damnit mom and dad haha I can see where they were coming from though... it wasn't the religion that was important, it was the morals
There were more than two of each animal (at least in the version that I read), but your point is still very valid. There were differences of clean and unclean animals (in every version), which would still cause the number of animals of each species to be under 50 and there are that many more animals to fit on the ark. So yeah, the actual scripture proves your point even further. Well done video.
This is the flaw in many Atheist arguments as well as Theist arguments. Both sides take the Bible too literally. You have to remember that there was very little land mass discovered before the Greeks and Romans took the lead as the larger nations of the era. You have to revert back to their knowledge to understand what they were writing about. You also have to keep in mind that poetry was prominent in writing back then, so hyperbole and exaggeration were rampant.
@trixiefae When a book as SO many verses that blatantly contradict each other, metaphors left and right, and then rules that are people are supposed to live by how exactly is one supposed to determine which parts to are right and which are wrong when there is nothing out side of it to help?
Second, and probably most convincing, is that every ancient civilization has record of an ancient flood in historical documents, not only in works relating to their deities, meaning that it is very possible that all land (inhabited at that time, meaning mostly Mediterranean and Middle East) had been flooded at one point in time, and the "two of every animal" were simply two of every local animal species in order for that ecosystem to survive.
@trixiefae How is having a lot of flood stories convincing? Floods are a pretty common thing in the world and it's not unheard of to have massive ones. Heck, almost every culture in the world has had some story about dragons, and most of these cultures never had contact, does this mean dragons are credible too?
At anyrate, the Bible's flood story like many other stories was just taken from other myths around the area anyway, so it's pretty easily discredited.
Ok, let me begin with saying I love your work! I do, however have something to say about this video (and bear with me, because this may take multiple comments) First, if Noah did actually exist, it would have been extremely early in human existence, meaning formations we have today would be noticeably smaller. Everest wouldn't have been as tall as it is today due to the plate tectonics being in early stages of collision.
@trixiefae No it wasn't. 10000 years at most (since thats as far back as creationists are willing to go) is not enough time to make a noticeable change in a mount that was formed over 60 million years ago.
This is incredibly funny. But what about those rat-arse bastards who say, "PFFT! Well, I don't take the bible LITERALLY of course! I believe it's all metaphorical! I don't ACTUALLY believe the earth flooded and all that shit!"
This is a serious problem. Thankfully there's some other arguments, like your 'Can't Have It Both Ways' video. (Y)
@WhentheworldendsWWYD No it wouldn't.. That would just prove the people who wrote the bible didn't know a thing about the world they were inhabiting. Since god apparently told them what to write, that would mean "god" doesn't know about the rest of the world. your logic is nothing but a giant paradox
I genuinely don't understand how so many people continue to hold such beliefs as this -- with current science and technological progress, and with our current degree of understanding of the universe, such ideas are ludicrous.
@aussieidentity That's why religion is fucked up. It debilitates rational thinking in good-natured & otherwise rational people. People's brains were recorded through electrodes in a study. It revealed that when people thought about God, parts of the brain lit up which were identically lit up to when people associated with the physical presence of actual people; Yeah, religion can PHYSICALLY change the brain & the neurological pathways... Fucking scary man.
what bother me the most about this video is that one third of the earth believes this story.........but the part that really gets me is they believe this, no proof whatsoever, but yet dinosaurs and their evidence are unbelievable by these people because the bible doesnt mention them.............religion is wrong, wanna watch a great movie watch RELIGULOUS.................its a movie that helps point us in the right direction............
@SweetCocoa69 LOL Yep that's the most popular creationist idea. Apparently they don't realize how impossibly fucked up the world must have been before the flood for that to be true
@Hungryturtlez indeed. The waters retreated back through the windows of heaven (where all the extra water came from in the first place).....by you guessed it. Magick!
Allakazam! 150x the global current maximum capacity of water through "windows of heaven"
An an atheist I must say that the guy who makes these videos is pretentious douche

McLarenMercedes 5 days ago
Actually though, this just made me think something funny when Jeffrey mentioned 'magic heart attacks'. I noticed that in all these holy books gods never just erase mortals they're upset with from reality. They always kill them with some physical means, like a disease, a lightning bolt, drowning them in a flood.
I think that actually says alot about what I always figured god(s) are. Namely they are imprinting nature with a human personality. And then later generations pile on additional powers.
TheSkunkCat 5 days ago
@TheSkunkCat

LarryHarveyMusic 6 days ago
@LarryHarveyMusic lol your stupidity to justify this story amazes me...a vessel transporting genetic material from mars to earth? o.O
there is no consciousness while being a dna material how you think this "true" story came to us in the first place... and second of course science has a hard time to prove existence of life on mars some time in the past, because no one went to mars to fucking dig and search for evidences... you think a robot will dig up whole excavation complex?

(This is their demonic religious belief and agenda.)

Why aren't there any of these about the Qur'an. I'm sure there is some equally retarded/fucked up stories in there. Atheists need to focus on more than just Christianity, though I know Americans deal with Christians much more than other theistic religions. (My bad if my assumption of you being american is wrong)
N1NJ4lVl4573l2 4 weeks ago
@N1NJ4lVl4573l2 actually, the Quranic scriptures use the same ancient texts as Judaism and Christianity. So Genesis is the same for them.
Admittedly, they make changes to ancient texts and leave out some, claiming the corruption of Gods word by the hand of mankind but for the most part they kept it relatively intact. It was after the "revelations to Mohammed" that they had their own particular contributions to the "Holy Word" as found in their specific tomes added to the Quran
OkamsRazer 4 weeks ago
@N1NJ4lVl4573l2 The Islamic faith is very structurally similar in relation to the other Abrahamic scriptures in an analogous to the relationship pf Christianity to Judaism.
Almost all ancient texts are used, with modifications to their scriptures as determined by new texts (ie they dont "change the OT" they simply write new texts, ie the Gospels, and add them in even while contradictory and then claim a "New Testament")
Islam basically did much the same by recognizing both.
OkamsRazer 4 weeks ago

Taylorhorton 4 weeks ago
There were more than two of each animal (at least in the version that I read), but your point is still very valid. There were differences of clean and unclean animals (in every version), which would still cause the number of animals of each species to be under 50 and there are that many more animals to fit on the ark. So yeah, the actual scripture proves your point even further. Well done video.
missbakesmissstakes 1 month ago
This is the flaw in many Atheist arguments as well as Theist arguments. Both sides take the Bible too literally. You have to remember that there was very little land mass discovered before the Greeks and Romans took the lead as the larger nations of the era. You have to revert back to their knowledge to understand what they were writing about. You also have to keep in mind that poetry was prominent in writing back then, so hyperbole and exaggeration were rampant.
trixiefae 1 month ago
@trixiefae When a book as SO many verses that blatantly contradict each other, metaphors left and right, and then rules that are people are supposed to live by how exactly is one supposed to determine which parts to are right and which are wrong when there is nothing out side of it to help?
Here is just one example of the contradictions.
God is satisfied with his works. - Gen 1:31.
God is dissatisfied with his works. - Gen 6:6.
Seems odd that an all knowing god would regret anything.
xynth101088 1 month ago
@trixiefae why can't an omniscient god write (or if your one of those people, "inspire") something literal
MrChaos424242 1 month ago
Second, and probably most convincing, is that every ancient civilization has record of an ancient flood in historical documents, not only in works relating to their deities, meaning that it is very possible that all land (inhabited at that time, meaning mostly Mediterranean and Middle East) had been flooded at one point in time, and the "two of every animal" were simply two of every local animal species in order for that ecosystem to survive.
trixiefae 1 month ago
@trixiefae How is having a lot of flood stories convincing? Floods are a pretty common thing in the world and it's not unheard of to have massive ones. Heck, almost every culture in the world has had some story about dragons, and most of these cultures never had contact, does this mean dragons are credible too?
At anyrate, the Bible's flood story like many other stories was just taken from other myths around the area anyway, so it's pretty easily discredited.
xynth101088 1 month ago
Ok, let me begin with saying I love your work! I do, however have something to say about this video (and bear with me, because this may take multiple comments) First, if Noah did actually exist, it would have been extremely early in human existence, meaning formations we have today would be noticeably smaller. Everest wouldn't have been as tall as it is today due to the plate tectonics being in early stages of collision.
trixiefae 1 month ago
@trixiefae No it wasn't. 10000 years at most (since thats as far back as creationists are willing to go) is not enough time to make a noticeable change in a mount that was formed over 60 million years ago.

Nope, even if they meant just the Middle East, no such flood has or could occur so high for so long without the entire planet being under water.
johnrainrules 1 month ago
@WhentheworldendsWWYD No it wouldn't.. That would just prove the people who wrote the bible didn't know a thing about the world they were inhabiting. Since god apparently told them what to write, that would mean "god" doesn't know about the rest of the world. your logic is nothing but a giant paradox
