  • Even after three years....this song and video is still great. Thank you.

  • What a tear jerker!!! I hadn't heard this song before but put with this video it is SOOO powerful!!!

  • Wow! I'm a 36 year old male and I quite literally, just wiped a tear from my eye. Very touching. :-)

  • Beautiful. Awesome editing.

  • thank you

  • I just love it ... wow ... I am sure Ralph is happy with it.

  • Thanks Alma! As a matter of fact, Ralph said: "Beautiful... surreal seeing real images from real life flowing through the lens of the song.... Nicely done. A lovely tribute."

  • Thanks Ed!

  • Did you remove my comment? I won't leave it again just incase.

  • If I did, it was an accident. Sometimes YouTube SAYS the comment posted, and it didn't... or something.

  • I had asked if it was all your own movies.

I also said that I hoped that making the vid done what you needed it to do.

    YT drives me nuts!!!

  • Absolutely none of it is mine. It is all "found footage" from maybe a dozen different sources. Making it helped me a lot.

  • You are back?

I am glad making it helped.

I was waching it going "there she is!!" and then I thought hang on is it...

    Thanks for clearing that up.

    Another great vid!!

  • The best video, I have seen in a long time. It sort of embodies what YT should be. I will put it up on my channel...

  • Thank you Erik. That means a lot to me.

  • I know it is a sad occassion and I am sorry for your loss. But I got thinking when I saw the video, took me back to a time when everything was home made, like when my aunt made chicken soup and strawberry jam.

  • yeah. i'm glad the vid had this effect. I read somewhere recently, that we should fill the void (left at a loved one's death) with remembered joy. Even if it is somewhat detached, we should look at the good things in life and not get stuck in sadness over what is lost.

  • Im sorry to hear that too. The video is well put together. I quite enjoyed it even though it made me feel a bit sad.

  • Thanks. You know, as sad as death is, it always reminds me that there is always new life being born too. and that makes me happy.

  • Suz, I'm so sorry to learn about the loss of your sister inlaw.

Cool video, it looks like really old footage. I like this artist too, still like Christopher's favourite song best, something about grey rain?

  • Thanks Leo. I enjoyed searching through old 8mm films to try to fit. We're doing alright. Vicki's birthday is in October, so we'll have a celebration of her life then. and yeah, ralph covert can write some awesome songs!
