  • first off the borlas arent cats dude. they r mufflers. so what ur saying is u have 4 cats and two mufflers. get a bassani highflow catted x pipe. it will cut u down to 2 cats, that have more flow. car will sound perfect then

  • Mine sounds similar haha

  • Sounds good bro

  • yes the x pipe tweaks the sound cuz you go from either 6 cats (if a california car) or 4 cats down to 2, makes it a deeper and louder sound.

  • yeah My car has 6 cats including the borlas, I think I will remove the h pipe and buy a catted x pipe. I think bassani makes one where is catless and comes with cats as well.

  • Question. I am looking between buying the Borla for my 04 GT or the Flowmasters...what you think would be better for a clean deep sound...

  • I had weld in flowmasters and I switch to Borlas about 3 weeks and I dont regret it a single bit.

  • Is that really how loud it is in person? I have an 04 GT and I am having a tough decision on what I want. I realy want the stringers but according to some videos, they sound REALLY loud.

    Thanks

  • the are pretty loud when first installed and then calm down abit after they r broken in. i recommend them if you want loud but nice sound. note that i also have a bassani x-pipe so im not sure if it tweaks the sound or not?

  • I have borlas too and they are just what you want your car to sound like. Videos only give you how they sound but not how loud. in my opinion borlas are the way to go.

  • Ya since my message above, I now have Borla Stingers and a Bassani SS catted X!
