@schudacris The 3rd season did suffer from the writer's strike, but it still delivered superbly. No Rest for the Wikid is one of the best episodes they've done. It's emotional, it's action packed, its creepy and the fact that they actually do not manage to save Dean still gives me chills even now.

Yeah I noticed that too. For the most part there are a lot of women villains and demons in general. I mean, the only really decent villains I can think of that are male are Azazel, Alistair, and the trickster. But I think it is partialy because the women in the show bring more of a "sex appeal" or a contrast to the show. The guys aren't the only ones who can kick but!

the Colt was a Deus Ex Machina. When they introduced Ruby's knife they didn't have the Colt, but then she fixed it and I was like "ok, TWO things that can kill demons? That makes it too easy." Plus the Colt served its purpose: killing Azazel.

The premiere of season 4 inspired me to put the song on my iPod; everytime I listen to the song it reminds me of Supernatural. ^^
