I got this and "The Little Mermaid" on VHS tape for Christmas 1990. I was a huge fan of Ariel and watched TLM every day for weeks around my 6th birthday...eventually my parents refused to put it on anymore, so I switched movie cases with TLM and DuckTales Treasure of the Lost Lamp, and I'd say "Can I watch Ducktales?" It took a couple years to catch on...lol. I liked DuckTales too tho...old school Disney forever <3
One thing that I DID find somewhat odd about the ending credits of this film is that on the VHS and DVD releases, the vocals are mysteriously removed for this second reprise. In the theatrical release, we heard Jeff Pescetto's voice for the second time over this reprise. It's odd that this replacement came about.
The reason Disney keeps a leash on Ducktales & Darkwing Duck are 'cause both are linked to Donald, for whilst Scrooge is Donald's uncle, Huey [not to be confused w/ Baby Huey of Harvey Comics], Dewey, & Louie [not to be confused w/ Louie from Disney's own TaleSpin & Jungle Cubs series, both spin-offs of The Jungle Book] are nephews of Donald & grand-nephews of Scrooge, whose pilot, Launchpad McQuack, relocated from Duckburg to St. Canard to work with Drake "Darkwing Duck" Mallard as a sidekick.
The FOX Kids shows were split between the mouse & bunny companies, with the mouse getting Marvel toons [prior to getting all of that company to compete with the bunny already owning DC for a number of years] and Saban's Power Rangers whilst the bunny got programs like R.L. Stine's Goosebumps series (for annual airings during Halloween on CN). I dunno 'bout other regulars like Bobby's World, Life With Louie, Eeek the Cat, or Earthworm Jim, though...they're rotting away, wherever they are.
As for Tazmania, I am sure the bunny owned that partially from the start, since its a re-imagining of Taz's childhood & the Warner Bros. branch owns all The Looney Tunes (including Taz), since Warner Bros. created them to rival Mickey & friends from Disney.
Of course, since Time Warner owns BOTH Warner Bros. & CN, shows from those branches can be swapped. Same with the Hannah-Barbera library, since Time Warner bought the rights after both Hannah & Barbera passed away and likewise with any product starring DC Comics characters, for why else did Kids WB--now The CW, which airs 4Kids programs--and CN swap Teen Titans back & forth initially before granting the series a permenant home on CN & its retro counterpart, Boomerang (when the show ended)?
Usually, unless a merger/buyout occurs, the transferred shows are only distributed, not owned, thus why Viacom couldn't throw a fit when the DVDs of A!, P&tB, TTA, and F! came out, as it didn't rightfully own those shows...Time Warner did & allowed Viacom to host those shows on Nick during their time in syndication.
The point is...unless the original owners grant permission or are bought out (as FOX Kids [hence Saban's Power Rangers & the Marvel toons prior to the entire merger with the comic company itself to compete with Time Warner's ownership of DC], DiC--in particular, Inspector Gadget--& The Classic Muppets [The Muppet Show and Muppet Babies] were by the mouse), the franchises remain the sole properties of their parent company.
its amazing that with this one song, everything that happens in a pretty naff day doesn't seem to matter anymore. why don't they make kids shows like this anymore?
I loved this movie as a kid. Still do. I got it on video many years ago when it first came out on video. I loved the ending and how it rolled into the Ducktales theme.
Man, I really cried on this movie. When you are a kid, seeing one of your favorites characters of all time being attacked by a Griffon while falling from great heights can cause a heart attack by sheer awesomeness.
And then cheer until your blue in the face when said character beats the effin' crap out of said Griffon. I ttel ya, I agree with you wholeheartedly man.
I share your feelings totally, you guys. Ducktales was my first movie I saw in a theatre, and boy was it an experience! I´ll never forget the scene where Scrooge´s money bin crumbles and transforms into that hell fortress.

So, I saw this on Cartoon Network for the Flicks Movie Premiere. Do you know Cartoon Network's Flicks? You know, where thet show great movies every Sunday night.
DarthJones55 & FroggoFan64: Besides, Time Warner STILL owns them, as the DVDs of those programs show us. Disney XD only airs them--just as Nick did--BECAUSE Time Warner allowed them too (I mean, Tiny Toons was made by Time Warner's WB branch too & it aired on Nick during that channel's own golden era).
As a continuation of my previous comment, is it possible for you to put this song for download in mp3 format? If you can't, that's alright, but I'm just curious if you would do that.
That tune's now a RARE find! Since the film got remastered a bit (like on the UK DVD), the ending would have the theme tune, the movie score and THEN a reprise of the theme tune!
Alang young was the best for doing the voice of Scrooge Mc Duck.

I think he`ll almost 100 years.

Actually, the singing is included when the credits start, and it's included without singing at the end of the movie credits.

@Turnajon Interesting...I saw the movie when it first came out (one of the few) and the vocals were not included during the reprise.

Hello,
You will need a program like Winrar or 7z to extract the 4 songs of the .rar file.
Then, you'll have the songs as a classic .mp3 format.
