  • Alang young was the best for doing the voice of Scrooge Mc Duck.

  • Alang Young still is alive and is 92 year.

    I think he`ll almost 100 years.

  • my favorite cartoon!!! a terrible Movietoon production of such a great TV series!! I remmeber being so disapointed with the movie

  • This movie would have been ideal for the full version of the ducktales theme, but hey, it was great enough.

  • I got this and "The Little Mermaid" on VHS tape for Christmas 1990. I was a huge fan of Ariel and watched TLM every day for weeks around my 6th birthday...eventually my parents refused to put it on anymore, so I switched movie cases with TLM and DuckTales Treasure of the Lost Lamp, and I'd say "Can I watch Ducktales?" It took a couple years to catch on...lol. I liked DuckTales too tho...old school Disney forever <3

  • My Region 2 DVD the singing is in Beginning anfd here in the end as seen in the version I've fully uploaded here

  • Duck Tales, wouhouu

  • The person who has the movie on here only has a part of it and blocks anybody from communicating to him or his videos.

    What a shame. :(

  • Man, I really love the electronics they used in the theme music. ^_^ Very nice!

  • this tune has been in my head for years but i couldn't remember where thanks for putting it up now i'm at peace =P

  • wow nice

  • wow thanks!!!!!!!!!!!! I didn't think anyone would upload that!

  • still good music :D ! ! ! ! !

  • One thing that I DID find somewhat odd about the ending credits of this film is that on the VHS and DVD releases, the vocals are mysteriously removed for this second reprise. In the theatrical release, we heard Jeff Pescetto's voice for the second time over this reprise. It's odd that this replacement came about.

  • Actually, the singing is included when the credits start, and it's included without singing at the end of the movie credits.

  • @Turnajon Interesting...I saw the movie when it first came out (one of the few) and the vocals were not included during the reprise.

  • Loved it. Thanx a lot!!

  • 00:30 Assistant film editors: DAVID LYNCH!!!!

  • He had to start somewhere!

  • Comment removed

  • robably someone else, realistically.

  • Comment removed

  • that's not the David Lynch of Eraserhead. Just the same name.

  • I wish HD would came back for this vid :( such an awesome synth tune.

  • My favourite song in the world!

Anyway my favourite is the 3rd instrumental version.

  • The reason Disney keeps a leash on Ducktales & Darkwing Duck are 'cause both are linked to Donald, for whilst Scrooge is Donald's uncle, Huey [not to be confused w/ Baby Huey of Harvey Comics], Dewey, & Louie [not to be confused w/ Louie from Disney's own TaleSpin & Jungle Cubs series, both spin-offs of The Jungle Book] are nephews of Donald & grand-nephews of Scrooge, whose pilot, Launchpad McQuack, relocated from Duckburg to St. Canard to work with Drake "Darkwing Duck" Mallard as a sidekick.

  • The FOX Kids shows were split between the mouse & bunny companies, with the mouse getting Marvel toons [prior to getting all of that company to compete with the bunny already owning DC for a number of years] and Saban's Power Rangers whilst the bunny got programs like R.L. Stine's Goosebumps series (for annual airings during Halloween on CN). I dunno 'bout other regulars like Bobby's World, Life With Louie, Eeek the Cat, or Earthworm Jim, though...they're rotting away, wherever they are.

  • As for Tazmania, I am sure the bunny owned that partially from the start, since its a re-imagining of Taz's childhood & the Warner Bros. branch owns all The Looney Tunes (including Taz), since Warner Bros. created them to rival Mickey & friends from Disney.

  • Of course, since Time Warner owns BOTH Warner Bros. & CN, shows from those branches can be swapped. Same with the Hannah-Barbera library, since Time Warner bought the rights after both Hannah & Barbera passed away and likewise with any product starring DC Comics characters, for why else did Kids WB--now The CW, which airs 4Kids programs--and CN swap Teen Titans back & forth initially before granting the series a permenant home on CN & its retro counterpart, Boomerang (when the show ended)?

  • Usually, unless a merger/buyout occurs, the transferred shows are only distributed, not owned, thus why Viacom couldn't throw a fit when the DVDs of A!, P&tB, TTA, and F! came out, as it didn't rightfully own those shows...Time Warner did & allowed Viacom to host those shows on Nick during their time in syndication.

  • The point is...unless the original owners grant permission or are bought out (as FOX Kids [hence Saban's Power Rangers & the Marvel toons prior to the entire merger with the comic company itself to compete with Time Warner's ownership of DC], DiC--in particular, Inspector Gadget--& The Classic Muppets [The Muppet Show and Muppet Babies] were by the mouse), the franchises remain the sole properties of their parent company.

  • Gets better each listen!

  • Different.

  • its amazing that with this one song, everything that happens in a pretty naff day doesn't seem to matter anymore. why don't they make kids shows like this anymore?

  • I LOVE Synth Music. DuckTales nailed it in that area lol

  • I remember that the movie contained something extra material...im not sure...

but if it did, could someone post that?

  • i still got it on tape

  • fIx the media fire one its not working

  • Fixed.

  • Sorry, the MediaFire download is RAR. What program do i need to play it?

  • Hello,

You will need a program like Winrar or 7z to extract the 4 songs of the .rar file.

Then, you'll have the songs as a classic .mp3 format.

  • @iFevy A .mp3? isn't this .mp4?

  • @BraeDoktor Video is .avi or .wmv, I don't remember anymore.

Songs in the download links are .mp3 or .wav.

  • I cant download it from Rapidshare. Can you put another link to the description?

  • I've set a second download link up.

    Try it out.

  • Great song.

  • Do you have another link to the mp3 download?

I can't download the mp3 on rapidshare for some reason =S

  • I love this movie!! :D

  • I loved this movie as a kid. Still do. I got it on video many years ago when it first came out on video. I loved the ending and how it rolled into the Ducktales theme.

  • was hilft das?

  • Thanks for the download link

  • Wow.

  • Man, I really cried on this movie. When you are a kid, seeing one of your favorites characters of all time being attacked by a Griffon while falling from great heights can cause a heart attack by sheer awesomeness.

  • And then cheer until your blue in the face when said character beats the effin' crap out of said Griffon. I ttel ya, I agree with you wholeheartedly man.

  • I share your feelings totally, you guys. Ducktales was my first movie I saw in a theatre, and boy was it an experience! I´ll never forget the scene where Scrooge´s money bin crumbles and transforms into that hell fortress.

  • This film is the only time we see the singer get credited his name is Jeff Pescetto who sings the theme for both the cartoon and this great movie.

  • LIES!!! This is a Disney Film! so CN wouldn't have on intention of airing this movie (although it's somehow snuck through on UK Television)

  • UK Televisions? Man, talk about lucky.

  • UK: it has been shown a couple of time!!! over the last 18 years!

  • Oh, over the past 18 years. I thought he was talking about recent.

  • I think it been at least 3-4 year since it was shown on UK tv

  • I wish they showed this on Cartoon Network for the Flicks. It would've been great if they showed this on Cartoon Network for the Flicks.

  • i agree cartoon network shouldve show duck tales the movie on cartoon network for the flicks

  • They can'ts. CN is Warner Brothers, Ducktales is Disney.

  • That kind of thing isn't stopping Disney XD from showing Warner Bros. cartoons like "Pinky and the Brain" and "Static Shock", though.

  • Those shows have been going through many channels. They were on Nick Toons at once too.

  • DarthJones55 & FroggoFan64: Besides, Time Warner STILL owns them, as the DVDs of those programs show us. Disney XD only airs them--just as Nick did--BECAUSE Time Warner allowed them too (I mean, Tiny Toons was made by Time Warner's WB branch too & it aired on Nick during that channel's own golden era).

  • cooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooool.

  • do you have that movie? yes or no?

  • Hm, yes I have it, why?

  • Can you post parts 1-7 to this movie, please?

  • You mean posting the whole film?

There's already someone who did it, I think.

  • They did, but they're not posting parts 5, 6 or 7, so that's why I need you to do that.

  • Please post the film... now!

  • I'm sorry, I think someone already did, no?

  • There's only a couple parts of it on I think.

  • That's okay I got the DVD from Ebay 5 days ago.

  • I got that movie from the Flea Market, So I have it on Vhs

  • i wich i want a full song for it?

  • wow tats sooooooooooo great i been looking alle time to get for karaoke version i godt finaly godt downlad this song on link thanks you so much IFEVY

  • a real instrumental. HOO-RAY! ...this is an actual instrumenal, right?

  • Yes David Newman wrote and did all of the music for this film

  • David Newman must have had quite fun of making this song into a synth version i love the drums at the end

  • As a continuation of my previous comment, is it possible for you to put this song for download in mp3 format? If you can't, that's alright, but I'm just curious if you would do that.

  • Link has been updated in description. Enjoy!

  • Dude!! I've been looking everywhere for a karaoke version of this song!! That guy is right, this song is so hard to find nowadays! Thanks a lot!

  • That tune's now a RARE find! Since the film got remastered a bit (like on the UK DVD), the ending would have the theme tune, the movie score and THEN a reprise of the theme tune!

  • Eheh, a good thing I still had my old video cassette, then.

  • cool

  • haha, may I ask what the point of this video is?

  • Point of this?

Having the ducktales theme without the lyrics, duh!

And in a good quality, of course.

  • May I ask you to leave the internet, sir ?

  • Goodbye! Well miss the animation for the way it was!

  • duck tales always did have an awesome intro and outro

  • This is nice, but I actually like the television arrangement better. I wish I could hear THAT without the lyrics.

  • Mp3 Mp3 Mp3 :<

  • Posted.

The link is in the description.

  • Luv u <3

  • coooooool video this is the music from the cartoon.

  • i really want this =)

  • Okay, there'll be a mp3 version of it soon.

I just have some problems atm, the sound of the mp3 is too low when I convert it...

    Thanks!

  • GREAT TUNE

  • Yeah! Now, I can sing my own version of this song! xD
