Hi , I'm thinking of getting into RC helicopters after spending a lot of time with RC cars (so I know a bit about the tech thingy) but i was wondering what would you recommend the honey bee king 2 or the honeybee FP V2?
do you know where to buy these in australia?bcose i have taken up helis I do fly planes is well but I have a rtf eflight blade and that is pretty good
Hey... the pitch knob on the left side of the throttle should it stay centered when i switch to idle up ? cause i don.t have enough power on my inverted..(center pitch knob) The blades are not pitched cause i'm waiting for my new pitch caudge. that can be a reason of course.. hehehe love the fact that we almost started at the same time with helis. But your still the best... damn
Yes you need to set the pitches first. I did it without pitch gauge. its easy. disconnect motor cables. Now turn on radio, connect battery and put throttle stick middle, now turn on idle up and see if pitch changes when heli shifts to idle. Here you can set the main blade pitch in a way that when ever you flip idle up switch when throttle is in center, blades just don't shift pitch. NOw you will have smooth transition when going idle up, u won't feel it ;) n you will have right pitches.
there is a switch top left of the Radio. Switch it to Idle 1 and your heli will be flying hard core ready for 3D. But if you are a beginner, LOL do not ever touch it.
Thanks. my man. i am learning. But now my skills are beyond this helis capabilities. I am thinking I will buy a new Metal Good Pro Version 3D Heli and practice more moves :D
I know that well. Align are the best Heli Manufacturers in the world. But again, its not the heli that you should give credit to, Its the pilots and their skills that they can let any heli do the amazing stunts. I know Allan and Danny Brothers. they are greatest pilots. I love them.
Great to see you flying helis again, but yeah, that gyro needs some settings, seemed really twitchy.
I also fly alot with realflight 3.5, and I was wondering what you as an experinced pilot think about the realism in the flight simulator, is it anything like the real deal ?
cause I fly alot of helis in RF3.5 and some helis outdoors (CP V2, Copter-X & T-rex 450), but even with setting almost perfekt its alot harder too fly in real life, mayby I'm just nervous =)
I tried many sims. I found Realflight G3.5 to be the closest to the reality. Models that you download mostly are not close to reality. Models that came with Realflight G3.5 Built in and expansion pack models are very close to reality. Plus you can set wind speed, gusts and other setting to get it to real level. Its as real as it can be. I have seen helis and planes behaving same way in real life as they behaved in Realflight after proper setup.
@ alishanmao, U are awesome!
