  • Yea OOH yea a streamliner, they are even rarer then the big mountain locos of the mid 20th century YOu just cant find many of them. The old steam locos represent american transportation of over a century and helped tame the nation, they are also like living beasts that breath out steam and have lots of moving parts compared to the modern diesle locos. My grandfather once engionered a loco on president Eiesnehours campaine train, and went around a turn and accednetly spilled coffie on the prez.

  • and afterward went back and told him he was sarry, and the president shook his hand and said dont worry about it. It is a true story but my mother, her sister, and grandma are passed away, and grandpa John the engioner passed away when my mom was 2 years old so I never met him but grandma would tell the story to me many times, mother passed away last year march 8 2009. She passed on the day before her sisters birthday same age and her sister passed a day before mine two years earlier.

  • @manga12 personaly I don't see the daylight as a stream liner when you compare it to other streat liners such as the husons and coronation class

  • I say that since its a much cleaner profile and its flatter then most locos, its got less exposed parts then most of the trains you see, therefore I said it looked like a streamliner.

  • Awesome video, Skip
