This documentary is so accurate. When I was under extreme stress, the death in my family, the only way that I could cope with it was in helping others. Now, 10 years later, I am much more able to handle stress. Whenever I leave my house, my main goal is to help someone else feel better. I tell jokes, complement people on their appearance, clothing, etc., and show people my cat photos. I volunteer at a university. By making someone else feel good, I feel good.

If heirarchs and social dominance breeds stress, then a non-heirarchical society is what we need in order to attain the benefits of reduced stress.
Hmm...that sounds a lot like what the Zeitgeist Movement proposes. More specifically, it sounds exactly like the Venus Project.
