  • Steve Ewing is a legend.

  • @ asilemlorac: Word, brother! HYAAAH!!!

  • Ye. Venue doesn't look very good for a show like this either. Steve still puts on a great show. But gotta have a pit!. Bouncers at Mississippi Nights learned to love there jobs on Urge nights!. @Kennedy's with 20' of floor space, you were pretty much ON stage. Hard to beat with a crowd and a little legroom for Steve.

  • This looks like a high school talent show next to the urge...Steve is the only one who is on point...he really does deserve a better band than this...

  • Steve is doing his own thing now. He loves what he is doing. The Urge is OVER.... people, move on! Steve is freaking amazing!!!

  • nobody ever said that he wasn't doing his thing, or that the urge wasn't over...the fact is that this band doesn't hold a candle to the band he used to have backing him up, and he should get a better vehicle to showcase what he is capable of instead of a bunch of head nodding statues that can cover a song alright...

  • Have you seen this band live or are you referring to the video? I have seen them several times live and they are amazing. That drummer is gone. The guitar player, Adam Hansbrough and the bass player Nick Jost are both very talented. Adam is one of the most amazing guitar players you will ever have the pleasure of seeing live. The video does not even begin to showcase this band.

  • So, instead of basing your opinion on a video that is very poor quality, why don't you try seeing them live and really have some ass to back up what your mouth says. Also, Steve is almost 40 years old, he started this band in high school. He is grown now and has moved forward and loves what he is doing. The Urge was great, but it's gone and Steve is the best part of it that remains.

  • Dude you are getting way to butt hurt over someone else's opinion...this video is not amazing...the guitar player is not amazing...maybe the song doesn't call for it, but just maybe the dude is sub-par for the course. I have seen much more lively and impressive performances of this and other songs. I've seen more live shows than you'll probably ever dream of...

  • if this guitar player is your idea of amazing then you are too easily amazed. I don't know if one of these guys is your boyfriend or something, but if they aren't then you should just get over the fact that they aren't as good as others Steve has played with and move on...These guys don't tour around here where I live, or I would probably go check them out, but I'm telling you it

  • would not be for them, it would be to see Steve, and in all honesty they would probably not impress me anymore than they have here. Trust me as a guitar player myself, I know an amazing one when I see it and this just isn't amazing...sorry...

  • Don't be sorry for me.... be sorry for yourself that you have never been graced with Adam's guitar finesse and absolute magnificence. Move over Joe Satriani, you ain't seen nothin' yet! And no, these guys are not my boyfriend, but Steve is my friend and I feel qualified to speak on the subject of him and this band.

  • EXACTLY.... these guys don't tour around where you live... so, just as I suspected, you have not seen them live. You have no opinion that matters, because you cannot speak about their abilities when you have never seen them live. Most of these videos you see on here are bunk and low quality. If you don't know that, then live a few more years, and you will learn.

  • At the age of 28, try again my friend... you are a baby, just getting started.

  • stevie! going to his place tonight!

  • Wtf is with that weak drummer. He needs John!

  • The drummer is gone.

  • Damn! They've gotta get some horns.

  • reunite the URGE

  • Fantastic save for the fact that they need the horns section. Steve with horns support is amazing!

  • steve ewing band just played my sister's wedding in Southern Illinois at Blue Sky Vineyard last night. I saw the Urge about 10 years ago at the Copper Dragon in Carbondale, IL. Was really a blessing to actually stand right NEXT TO HIM as he played All Washed Up. What a fuckin' band!!!

  • This was one of the greatest nights of my life... Steve was awesome, but the rest of the band i don't know about. I was going crazy during this song though. I live in Missouri and i've NEVER seen the Urge live (Sad, i know...), but it was great hearing this song live for once.

  • there are many who havent heard em live. I wasnt old enough for concerts in the 90's so i never saw em, i'm gonna go to one soon though, I love Steve's music, not only with The Urge, but his solo stuff.

  • Hell yeah Steve!! Keep The Urge alive my brother!!
