Good lord, a frame roll going into the Ten? Was it common to crash syncs going into network programmes like that back then?

I remember from my days at the BBC in the early 90s that Central almost always used to have a frame roll going to TV-AM (later GMTV) in the early mornings, but that was pretty much the only time you'd see it.
