  • 3 of these have gone bust

  • stupid that are not realy operating systems

these things cant boot up from you pc

  • hey how did you get your start bar to say banana?

  • also what is the link for web

  • what is the link for EyeOS

  • Pointless. An OS that can run a browser can run everything you'd want to run in an OS in a browser.

  • @Antakku It's not about what each can and cannot run though. I see online OS's useful for transferring files, online back-up, testing applications, seeing a new GUI and removing the need to install certain programs on your hard-drive, as they could be used straight through an online OS.

    Thanks for watching.

  • @BulletOfBullets Dropbox can do most of those, but I hadn't thought of how it might be useful for a system with limited hard disk space to install programs on. Fair point.

  • you should add jolicloud

  • Thanks for the info and suggestions.

  • thanks

  • OSception

  • at 4:42 mac rip off

  • Too bad none of these are real

  • I'm glad I'm not imagining the Banana Start logo. Wow, that's weired, but cool! :D

How did you do it though?

  • Good if u watch Porn :)

  • can we download it

  • An excellent video. I had no idea all these WebOS links were available. Very cool, if marginally useful.

  • Can you download things on these?

  • I love the SliveOS or Windows for All. It's the best!

  • Windows4All looks like SilveOS

  • I am totally amazed that you covered so many but now you need to do an indepth video of each one.

  • @amplegreenfoundation I like your style.

    Thanks for watching.

  • windows4all cant be used

  • g.ho.st is gone :(

  • Hey, do you have any book or paper on how processes work on the WebOS ? I need to learn about them.

  • don't forget iCloud its one web os that i am using currently.

  • It Is Not Windows4All But It Is SilveOS!

  • These are no OSs but instead browser apps. Those companies - like Google, Facebook, Microsoft and many others - only want the best of you: your data, your connections, your relations. Don't give these informations (your most important data) ever to a company that basically want to make profi and gain market power.

Only leave your data in a cloud system if you are able and capable to encrypt everything locally (offline/under your control) before transfer. I do so and my stuff stays private.

  • @karli34 Good point ya made, but I still WILL NOT put anything on Cloud= same as trusting all your physical important personal thing inside your home to be left OUTSIDE on the street inside a big lock box. SOMEONE will take it out of curiosity=COMMON SENSE. Some things CAN be centralized like Central heat n air system. THAT makes sense enough. There must be a sensible line. People are too trusting.Technology SHOULD NOT replace common sense. The pc is no longer personal when Cloud=required.

  • so which one is the best?

  • So.. I went to eyeOS, logged in and opened up the "Navigator" web browser and went to eyeOS, logged in and opened up the "Navigator" web browser and went to eyeOS, logged in and opened up the "Navigator" web browser and went to eyeOS, logged in and opened up the "Navigator" web browser and went to eyeOS, logged in and opened up the "Navigator" web browser and went to eyeOS

  • @DreamvoidStudios How do you that?

  • try amoebaos.com

  • Ok, so you have to have the latest microsoft silverlight in order to use windows for all....... Seems very redundant

  • Starmenu Button ---> Banana xD

  • cloud computing

  • IM ON MY INTERNET BROWSER ON A OS ON A INTERNET BROWSER ON A OS ON A BROWSR WTF!!!!!`

  • this virus?

  • @realflow100 You can't get viruses from WEBSITES.

  • @wasitrealy You can. Those click here to get a million dollars errors automatically download viruses when you click on them.

  • @Avondalelily Ah, true. You got me corrected there xD.

  • EyeOS and myGoya look awsome:{)

  • Great reviews, will definitely try the ones I haven't yet.

  • They are cloud Desktop Managers.

  • I just watched this on AstranOS

  • These aren't operating systems... by definition an OS can't be run through a web browser. Even if they were, why would you run them through a browser...? Twice the resources used, limited by your internet speed...

  • @thebailey12885 Well, they call them OS's, I'm not going to debate over that in one of my videos about the sites, and as for not needing them, well you would not run them 24/7 on a computer of-course, but they're very useful to transfer things if needed, as well as just to play with them.

    Thanks for watching.

  • @thebailey12885 yes these are not actual OSes, they are web OSes ??

Why would you run them, because if you keep your files on them you would be able to access them from everywhere even when you don't have your comp. This is not meant to be accessed when you have your comp but when you have to work online without it and have access to your files and things like that

  • @thebailey12885 Chrome OS is based entirely on a web browser

    ~

  • @thebailey12885 then you wont like the new google chrome os, its exactly like these

  • Comment removed

  • @thebailey12885 software that controls the execution of computer programs and may provide various services.

It is software, and it provides many services to the user that a blank webpage does not provide... in addition, it allows you to perform operations from the browser subsystem, so it is technically an operating system.

In my opinion virtualization of operating systems via virtualboxes and websites is long due.

  • @thebailey12885 yeah, thats true but they are like operating systems though. and theree is this laptop out there that only browses the web with no system. this would be perfect for that...

  • @thebailey12885 yes very true, but it is fun to look at really cool HTML5 mimicking a GUI on a real OS

  • Whats the point of a web browser in a web os?

  • Haha, Why does your start menu say Banana?

  • can you have these without making my windows vista disappear? like ubuntu

  • @k3bab92 infact ubuntu doesnt make windows dissapear!!! you will have the choice during ubuntu setup to easily partition your hdd!!!
