  • it seems like a Pink Floyd songs

  • Me encanta........!!

  • This song is actually in response to the fact that their record company at the time was fucking them over hard core.

  • @iriegnome No, that was Death on Two Legs, and it wasn't the record company, it was their managers.

  • Sorry,freddiefan1992, I was not saying that May wrote the song, only that it was his most experimental guitar work (that I have heard)...apparently I caused doubts. I did not know my comments would be taken as a "test" either, love Queens' music!

  • "I give you heat" (epicfaint)

  • Definetly MAY's most experimental...nothing wrong with straight ahead rockers like "Tie Your Mother Down," etc., but this song definetly speak of expirementation. wish that Freddie could have stayed longer, but he lived the live he chose. Reminisent of Led Zepplins Whole lotta Love.

  • @emriederek I looked at the album booklet after seeing this comment, Freddie wrote this song and you fail.

  • Farrokh Bulsara..... perfect voice, classically trained on the piano, songwriter, designed Queens logo......collector of Japanese art..Beautiful,shy sweet and yes ...sexy... part of something so perfect. Brian May Guitar Master Brilliant song writter, Roger Taylor great on drums and that falsetto John Deacon wrote some of Queen's most memorible songs and amazing bass player..I miss your presence Freddie Mercury..I admire how you lived...and died on your terms.Glad I got to see Queen LIVE

  • Great song from a great album from a great band...perhaps Brian at his most experemental! Make Love!

  • oh hell ya

  • dislike button here?!

  • great live...still great to listen to

  • my dad was 4 years old

  • want a good remix of the song check what out Nine inch nails did to it. Very well done

  • Definately no DJ AM.. He's Sylicone's favorite... if he woulda remixed it, i'd prob be into this song too.

  • excuse me, i love get down make love, but seriously, im in love my car is a good song, so if ur a true queen fan, SHUT UP!!!!

  • The "psychedelic" section of the song was terrifying to me as a kid. I was 6 years old when this and so many other great rock albums came out. I'd sneak both my older sisters' records onto my record player when they went out and listen to all the greats.Queen, AC/DC, Zep, Black Sabbath, the Who. I could go on and on. What a great time for music. Today...... well whatever.

  • @mindstormsabrewin some new bands actually are good, like the black keys and the white stripes, but as for most new music, i agree with you.

  • @BoboboBoBoBoboSucks Black keys rock. White stripes.......eh. Yeah there are good bands out there but it seems that the mediocrities are in command for the moment.

  • original is always better

  • What up with people talking about questioning their sexuality? You're either gay or you're not and if you're old enough to like and respond to this vid, you should know by now. You sound like those girls in high school who love to kiss on each other just because it may be a fashion statement.

  • @hatfisc Hater alert.....

  • @mariguingui Hate? I don't think you know what hate is.

  • I always loved the middle part of this song, with Brian making all the crazy effects with his guitar and the Harmonizer.

  • doesnt the last half of this song kinda remind you of that crazy part of whole lotta love?

  • @LEdPRINCEgirl yeahhhh! oh that was the first thin that came to my mind. i'd say that. it reminds me also a bit "still of the night" by whitesnake.

  • @GreatQueenFan cool, youve just introduced me to whitesnake : D

  • N-I-N cover is suh-weet!

    N-I-N fan from H-town

  • This is an absolute nail in every concert with this song in, especcialy the part with the srange sounds and voices

  • I love this fucking song!!!!

  • @QueenLive1974 what do you mean? I'm in love with my car is a great song!

  • its okay but i dont really like it either

  • Anybody else need a cigarette?

  • "Nice?" ROFLMAO!

My two cents? Despite the title, this is about pure, raw sex-for-the-sake-of-sex, uh, sex. The kind where you may not know the person's name or care kind of sex. Listen 2 how Freddie sings it - no love/tenderness/emotion in his voice. I think the title & words were meant to be kinda tongue in cheek. (No pun inteneded.) Yeah, the "makelovemakelovemakelove" part's funny as hell b/c by then you KNOW Freddie's manages to "have sex" with whoever may be listening! Freddie was magic.

  • i think that sex is fun, and make it with music is better

  • This song is almost TOO GOOD!

  • I know what you mean. My favorite parts are when Brian goes into the heavy power chord and Freddie sings, "Every time I get high, you wanna come down, every time I get hot, you say you wanna cool down."

  • this song's so funny. I had it playing in my store the other week and i heard the resident punk rocker worker laugh at the middle bit when he goes "makelovemakelovemakelove" and i could really see the funny side of it. It'd a damned funny song. Although i must admit. It kinda re-inacts me when i shoot my wad. Slow, weird and fucking damned good.

  • Queen doesn't have any new guy as a frontman, wth are you talking about?

  • Comment removed

  • Everyone putting NIN hate threads, know what yours saying. 1. Its spelled REZNOR, 2. If trent wanted to own this song, he would of released it on an album instead of with a 1989 single and only play the song live. Trent always gives credit, and Johnny's Hurt is not anything like the Amazing NIN version, and Johnny DOES NOT OWN THAT SONG! Just as Trent doesn't own Get down Make love.

  • what a sexy song haha :D

  • thats offensive i like i'm in love with my car

  • Comment removed

  • @craparoniandcheese First thing crapjabroni is Queen did the song originally jackass. I know good remakes and bad ones from a mile away. When you do a remake, you better kick ass. The NIN rendition of Get Down Make Love was terrible (I also hated certain remakes of great tunes (Sheryl Crow's defecation of Sweet Child O' Mine, Hoeriah Scary's rendition of Bringing on the Heartbreak). NIN does nothing for me and I see Trent Reiser as a whiny hypocrite to the enth degree.

  • floydgenesisnut u suck , nin best

  • NIN suck. I hate techno losers like that crap. Trent Reiser (as Gene Simmons fittingly called him) is a cry baby. Trent is quitting music because he knows he sucks. I know why my votes are being low is that you NIN fans can't handle the truth. I have no respect for a whiny, miserable, self-loathing, drug addicted piece of monkey crap. What he did to is classic Queen song ABSOLUTELY SUCKS!

  • Wow! Sexiest song ever, it make you want to "Get Down Make Love"!!!

  • lol!! well put! i totally agree, say where do u live...lol..jk! ;)

  • too psichedelic....wonderful...i love you....

  • Natalie, Ev'rytime I get high

You say you wanna come down...

  • This has to be one of the sexiest, hottest songs EVER written! Wow. Queen epitomizes brilliance!

  • Haha. Agreed. Freddie Mercury has come closer than anyone else to making me question my heterosexuality.

  • lmaoo!!! only Freddie ;]

  • @blochead88 haha...good one!

  • @blochead88 freddie mercury sometimes almost makes me wonder if the reason i'm straight is because i might not be cool enough to be gay ..

  • i think there are more sexy hot songs by Queen like in the album Hot Space ppl say it sooooo under rated i have no idea what it is but if its low than it is under rated! :P i love it!

  • I've never heard of that one. i'll check it out! :)

  • waited for the alien to come out...

    :)

  • Trent Did Way better in my opinion But very good song. Queen is amazing.

  • No way!

  • trent reznor is one of the best musicians, i love Queen; but you can't say that nine inch nails suck

  • Comment removed

  • Johnny's hurt was a massivly simplified version of REZNOR's song.

  • ew KISS. what pussy music.

  • please explain yourself.

  • I like music that was painstakingly done with real instruments and not all drum machines and cheap Casio synthesizers and singing about hate, depression all in dark minor keys. At least Pink Floyd had songs in major keys despite the dark lyrics. Genesis are more gifted than Trent Reiser. You are going to tell me that "March of the Pigs" and Terrible Lie" is better than "Watcher of the Skies" and "Home By the Sea" you must be smoking some bad crack.

  • I guess you have not ever heard the Peter Gabriel era Genesis. The same Peter Gabriel that everyone likes was the lead singer in Genesis until he left in 1975. Songs like"Supper's Ready" and "Watcher of the Skies" are way different than what people remember of the 1980s Genesis. Also, the Gabriel era produced my favorite double concept album next to Pink Floyd's The Wall out of The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway. Once you heard the Gabriel era get back to me, OK:)

  • C'mon, why compare stuff like that? Can't someone enjoy BOTH bands? I like Genesis with Peter Gabriel and Nine Inch Nails.

Some people just have to complain that newer stuff sucks the whole fucking time. Okay, you might not like it, but that doesn't make Genesis better or worse, it's just your opinion.

Why don't we all sit down and agree that Genesis sucks when Peter Gabriel left, like ordinary gentlemen?

  • Queen is fucking amazing. Trent Reznor (NIN) did a great cover of this too.

  • I love this song! ;D

    I love Queen!

  • fuckkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk yezsssssssssssssssssssssssssssss i love queen!

  • I love this song, it made that album for us hardcore Queen fans! Love ya Freddie!!!!!

  • wow that was fuckin trippy-weird...love it :D

  • I was only familiar with NIN's version of the song until now and after hearing this, oh my God - weirdest thing ever! Both are good though.

  • On record, this song sounds fab! I adore it

  • Agreed. I love the sound on the album. Thick bass and drums.

  • A Lot of People have Never reailized Freddie's Greatness

He was and will always be the BEST

  • I'm pretty sure they didn't use synts on this album (they first used them on the game). So how did they produce those funky sounds in the break?

  • They didnt All the Sytnh type sounds are made by the Red Special and Mr May of Course

  • Probably some pretty heavy use of feedback, too.

  • Omg, I'm hot! I'm sure, this song and "body language" really make everyone hot! I'm sure! gooood, freddie is AWESOME!!!

  • This is musical sex right here.

  • This is dripping - the most sexual song of all of rock

  • the qualitys great the sounds perfect, Queen should offically release this

  • I need to turn up my air-conditioner now....; )

  • kind of reminds me of Whole Lotta Love

  • this is one of the great rock moments in the history....nothing against nin but trent raznor have to learn lot from Great Freddy mercury

  • i prefer the nine inch nas cover to be honest but this is great

i just like it because it's more upbeat

but i do adore this one

    star,xxx

  • nas covered this song? is it on the nigger album?

  • that was a spelling mistake, it was sposta be "nine inch nails" sorry haha

  • Yeah this was the part of the show where Queen showed off all their cool lights, though this probably doesn't do it justice the way it was shot...AFAIK they never had lasers did they?

  • This is live in the 70's

This why Queen are the best!

    Bands cant do this now!

  • It was GREAT!!

  • I saw this tour and by this video you get no idea what all was going on with the light show.Lasers, swelling and diminishing colored

    spotlights sweeping the audience,strobe lights.

  • I love this song~ pure love/hotness/sex at its finest <33

  • omg! y meant to answer Georgehumperty! for his coment about aids. i don't know what happenened!

  • Can't stop listening to this!!!

  • Pfft. Ass.

  • Hey! Why did Darknaf91's comment get -4?? He can think whatever he wants! Even though there's no point writing it here because nobody cares, but still!

  • I Give You MEAT!!!!

  • probably the best line

  • God Save The Queen!!!

    Queen Forever!!!

  • I suck your mind... You blow my head

  • What a rockin' song! Damn, that Freddie sure can make you want to do as he says, doesn't he? LOL!!

  • i agree lol! for Freddie i would "get down, make love"!

  • this song is so sexy!!!! Freddie Mercury and Queen, once again, wrote an unforgettable hit!!!!!
