yes i definetly think this is my favorite painting w/music !... truly beautiful, in ways it kind of reminds me of Allergri's "Miserere mei, Deus" which is one of my favorite songs but i think this might even top it!

Very effective. Sometimes, even a momentary circumstance can evoke feelings of loneliness and longing. There is a Welsh word, Hiraeth, that approximately encompasses the experience.

A lot of people feel particularly lonely and/or depressed around the Christmas period, even more so I imagine under the current socioeconomic circumstances. I am lucky that I have a supportive family, but even I get depressed at what is going on.

I am alone here on Christmas day and very happy with my own company, but I did drive trucks, long distance, for 45 years. I don't know what loneliness is but I am perhaps a rare breed...love the music by the way.
