The Batman RIP series is a multi issue crossover, which i don't believe was ever mentioned, covering Batman #676-681, Detective Comics #846-850, Nightwing #147-150, Robin #175-176 and Batman and the Outsiders #11-13. I haven't picked up any of the other comics besides the main RIP storyline, so i have a feeling i'm missing out on alot because RIP is not making sense so far and the fact that Morrison is bringing back shitty characters like BAT-MITE is unacceptable.....

Personally, while I like Ming Doyle's redesigns, I think Kyle Latino's entry should have won first prize.

Why? Well for one thing: I'm a sucker for retro designs.

But more importantly, it made Superman wearing 'civilian' clothes look good. And ever since I first saw Superboy's first costume, I have been vehemently opposed to any Superman-related redesign incorporating civilian clothes. But what Kyle Latino did was actually come up with a Superman-in-jacket design, that I can actually like.

my favourite entry was the one that won 3rd prize - it just seemd the neatest to me. Although the crystal suit wouldn't really work it DID look cool specially that 'S'.

I think I've said this before but I find when one of they guys is missing the show seems to be better. That sounds bad I know but there's less messing about and more reviewing. Be it alex and justin or pete and justin or alex and pete, whatever...the show just seems more together.

Wow, I like the show, but I never realized how important Pete was to the dynamic of it. Seems a bit quiet and empty. And sterile, if that makes sense. Cool show though, if you do replace Pete, you should replace him with that chick from Comic Book Orange. 5 stars!
