  • This is genious!

  • Artist: The Butterbeer Experience

    Song: The Peverell Story

  • Thats a nice analogy, but I think it more likely that Voldemort is descendent of the second brother. For one, the resurrection stone was in his grandfather's possession. And secondly, he wanted power, but ultimately he sought to conquer death. Lastly you could argue that his army of inferi as a mockery of life mimicked the attempts of the second brother to bring back the dead

  • whoever sang this version did an amazing job

  • interesting,definitely different from everything,I've seen

  • Gives me goosebumps...

  • great

  • That was beautiful. Loved it! <3

  • Death claimed voldemort...who possesed the elder wand....

Death claimed snape...who mourned over the lost love.

and when harry died he really did meet death as an old friend....as in dumbledore:3...

It was just an observation ^ im not saying this was the story or really.....

  • he snapped the wand incase it got in the hands of evil

  • @emilylee3 in the book he put it back where it belonged- in dumbledores grave

  • watch part 1 of dethly hallows at the end

  • WRONG dumbledoor had the wand first then tom stole it when he was dead

  • Voldemort, Snape and Harry = the three brothers. I kinda lol'd when i thought "Wow, J.K. Rowling sure knows how to turn a fairy tale into a 7 book series and an 8 movie franchise based of it."

  • @cod007skilldfan Especially when she, herself, wrote the story of the Three Brothers.

  • This is just a repost of some one elses work. You didnt even edit it, you just reposted it from the butterbeer experience :\

Don't copy some ones great work.

  • what i really hate is when harry snapped the elder wand in half at the end of the movie i was like wtf O: i would have kept it :/

  • i still cant decide with i like more this or hermionie grangers narration

  • IT'S AMAZING!

  • I JUST CAN'T STOP LISTENING TO THIS SONG!...

  • Amazing Vid and song!

U should really read the books, not everything is explained that carefully in the movies. I was a bit disappointed when I saw them. I dont remeber harry's cloak to be menshioned at all for example...

  • Nice song

  • I just LOVE this tory, and the animation is just AMAZING!! It's like something right out of a Tim Burton movie!!

  • I must admit...I like this better than the original!!!!! This is beautiful!

  • Dare I say, better than the original.

  • 30 years later, when they make Broadway versions of Harry Potter, this is sure to be seen (or heard rather).

  • @Nerdfighterian you haven't seen Final Battle the musical? Or A Very Potter Musical?

  • @nerdmoment Yeah, but only very recently. I've only been a Starkid for about 2 1/2 months.

  • @Nerdfighterian <3 New Starkids are awesome

  • @Nerdfighterian which musicals have you seen

and dont be afraid to watch MAMD

wierd idea but it was totally awesome

  • @jb62397 I've seen all of them.

  • Wow... Death's a pretty good singer.

  • owners of the deathly hallows:

WAND: the wand is passed on by who defeats who. dumbledore had it and snape killed dumbledore but -SPOILERALERT- dumbledore wanted himself to be killed by snape so it passed on to draco instead (who threatend to kill dumbledore) but then harry had a duel with him in the malfoy mannor so now it's harry's.

Stone: passed on by family. it was voldemort's but he didn't know what it was, harry found it and now it's harry's.

cape: passed on by family. it's harry's

  • 2 people chose the wand and stone.

  • @MsHomieKnight Sory dude thats faaaaaaaaaaaaaaaar from the truth. Read the book it's all there.

Dumbeldore lived ages after the first brother died so he couldn't be the one to slit his throat.

  • @Guciom i thought i was wrong (i dont have time to read the books) i just went off of what i assumed from the movies and websites but it is about the peverell brothers right?

  • @MsHomieKnight Yeah it's about them, with that you are right, although in the book it's questioned if it was really death that gave them the wand, stone and cloak. It is assumed that they created al of them and the death thing was made up after centuries of passing the story down.

  • @MsHomieKnight You're an idiot. The peverell brothers were alive in the 13th century. Facepalm yourself now.

  • @NeverANiall you're a troll

  • @MsHomieKnight ok then, I just get annoyed when people state false facts and I had to correct you. You should have read the tales of Beadle the Bard before you commented so, in fact, you're the troll for trying to deceive others.

  • Congrats to Ben Hibon & Dale Newton + Alexis Liddell of Framestore for putting this amazing sequence together :)

  • "The Elder Wand," he said, and he drew a straight vertical line on the parchment. "The Resurrection Stone," he said, and he added a circle on top of the line. "The Cloak of Invisibility," he finished, enclosing both line and circle in a triangle, to make the symbol that so intrigued Hermione. "Together," he said, "the Deathly Hallows." - —Xenophilius Lovegood

  • This song is amazing! I'm so amazed at this! Excellent! Very very Excellent!

  • GUYS, READ THE BOOKS. THEN COME BACK AND CALL YOURSELVES FANS.

  • amazing !!!

  • 1. Harry is a descendent of the 3rd brother. He holds the invisibility cloak.

    2. Cloaks are rare but do exist, they fade or tear over time whereas Harry's doesn't.

    3. Voldemort represents the brother who wanted power- The Elder Wand. Snape represents the brother who pined after a lost love- The Ring. (And yes, the lost love is Lilly/ Harry's mum.) Harry represents the brother whom death could not find and departed the world as equals- The Cloak.

BAM. DONE. Now everyone can watch the video.

  • @StripyKneeHighSocks But Harry had all 3, making him the Master of Deadth.

  • @MrRedWaffles Yes, but he discarded the ring and wand because he didn't want their power. The ring is somewhere in the forbidden forest and he returned the elder wand to Dumbledore's tomb.

  • @StripyKneeHighSocks

though a nice comparison, Harry and Voldemort are the only blood related to the brothers (what makes things worse: harry is voldemort's.....bajizillionth degree COUSIN xD funny how he never seemed to notice it =P)

  • this is the death singing ^^ - if you listened from which perspective it was sang ^^

  • @TheBlueguitar333 you mean lily as in harrys mom? :)

  • Loving the song :O

  • Wow, awesome Song....nice voice! :)

  • GASP!

Never mind all these silly, petty posts about who's who and what's what in the J.K. Rowling kingom. The Animated Story should have been nominated for an Oscar... If you've seen the film: I'm hope you're justly dumbfounded by this musical version. The song and the editing are BRILLIANT. Whish it were in HD.... (pleeeez!)

  • the first brother wand is with dlumdore which voledert took it

the 2nd brother stone is with harry because sometimes harry can see what and where voldmert is

the 3rd brother cloth is with harry too because is grandfather was the third brother because harry get the cloth from is dead dad and is dad got it because of his dad

  • @alipatel98 Ignotus can't be Harry's grandfather. His last name is Potter. Ignotus is his many greats granfather yes but not his grandfather. James isn't Ignotus son because Sirus mentions James's parents. The brothers lived around the 13th Century. Also Harry doesn't get the Stone until the 7th book. Him knowing what Voldermort is up to has nothing to do with the stone. It's the Resurrection stone. Brings people back from the dead. Harry had a horcrux in his head that's why he knew all that.

  • ok, who is the singer and the composer????! Because this song made me shiver from the joy of hearing it to watching this amazing shadow-puppet animation!

  • @MsVica17 It's by the Butterbeer Experience- Lena Gabrielle

  • Umm did that mean that the youngest brother had sex and stuff under the cloak.

  • harry has cloak 100% fo sure

dubledore had elder wand 10% fo sure BUT voldemort stole it

harry has ressurection stone inside the thingy dumbledore left him

    we all love spoilers

  • @Nipletouch By now everyone should have READ THE BOOKS (!!!!) but anyway;

Elder wand; Dumbledore got it from Gellert Grindelwald who stole it from the wand maker Gregorovitch

Ressurection stone; Was eventually found by Dumbledore and placed inside the Golden snitch that harry caught

Invisibility cloak; Was passed down through family members. Being Dumbledores at one stage, now harry`s

  • Could you please give me the lyrics?????

  • this scence is superior to all the twilight movies combined.....I dare any stupid twilight fan to say twilight s better than the legand that is HP

  • Wow! Amazing song! =D

    Really, really really i like!!

  • perhpas the death dude is voldermolt?

  • @MrMattday1 Except Tom Riddle IS Voldemort. XD

Tom Marvolo Riddle when rearranged is "I am Lord Voldemort"

Or, literally I am the Lord of Death. XD

Voldemort = Flight of Death, or immortality. :)

  • @bitchywriter101 It could also be taken to mean fleeing from death, as when one is fleeing it is sometimes called a flight, which fits the character as he fears death more than anything.

  • @MrMattday1 No, the 'death dude' is Death itself. As in the Grim Reaper.

  • Do you have the lyrics???

  • elder wand, philosophers stone, cloak of invisibility.

  • @forestbansh

Actually its sort of the opposite

the philosophers stone makes you live

the resurrection stone make you resurrect from the dead

  • @forestbansh Resurrection stone. Philosophers stone was made by Flamel -puts on nerd glasses-

  • beautifull song !!!!! you guys worry to much about facts just enjoy the awsome video :D

  • who sings this

  • This is amazing! :D

  • no harrys dad cant be him cause his second name was potter the third brothers second name was peverell

  • @mollymeg yeah, but people related to the founders of Hogworts don't have their last names. Only the pure bloods. So there is actually a chance that Harry could at least be related distantly to the brothers...

  • @mollymeg But he could always be a descendant from him ;) If you look in your family tree it's also mixed with a lot of other names (unless you are a descendant of only sons)

  • @mollymeg Do you want to know the truth?

SPOILER ALERT! DON'T READ IF YOU DIDN'T READ THE BOOK.

Harry is a descendent of the third brother. :) It's in the book.

A peverell can have a daughter and this daughter can marry a Potter. See?^^

  • Somebody pls upload the full lenght video story, im searching for it like crazy!

  • @jarmelos /watch?v=OoKY9ODj-1c&NR=1 not best quality but for that you need to buy / download the blue ray (that gives truely awesome quality)

  • Beautiful ! :D

  • who sings this?

  • @theBRANDOProductions

This song is by Lena Gabrielle (the butterbeer experience)

  • TOM RIDDLE= THE ELDEST BROTHER (wanted power)

SEVERUS SNAPE= THE MIDDLE BROTHER (wanted a lost love :'( lily)

HARRY POTTER= THE YOUNGEST BROTHER (escaped death like a million times)

OMG when i heard this my mind exploded man, jk rowling is a friggen genious :p

awesome video by the way :D

  • @TheBlueguitar333 Fuck spoilers.

  • @foghorn2002 lols sorry my bad ^^" i should of put a warning lols

  • @TheBlueguitar333 No this cant be true because she is singing that the two brothers are dead and snape is still alive so you arent a genious ;)

  • @TheBlueguitar333

    OMG

    LOVE THAT!!

  • @TheBlueguitar333

lol you're totally out of mind haha

    go into azeroth fckr lmao

  • @TheBlueguitar333 YOur totally right!!!!!

But I think the stone is the sorcerers stone. Not a stone of Serverus.

  • @TheBlueguitar333 Another way to look at it:

Dumbledore: (the oldest) master of the Elder Wand but was killed by the second brother's gift which he coveted the most (He was going to die from the curse placed on the stone)

Voldemort: (The second) owner of the Resurrection Stone (his horcrux /in the family for generations) but was killed by the first brother's gift which he coveted the most (His spell cast by the elder wand backfired

Harry: Youngest, owner of the invisibility cloak and lived!!

  • @PsychoticVampiric I agree with this most of all to be honest.

  • @TheBlueguitar333 she fucking steal willy the wizard plot! thats not so genious if we think about it

  • @TheBlueguitar333 Dude, you are brilliant, mate!!! *highest five*

  • @TheBlueguitar333 Super observation!

  • @TheBlueguitar333 It is genius but when you think about it J.K. Rowling had given her self so many possibilities for the 7th book that i doubt she had thought the entire plot through in the 1st book, but i think that if she did the books and movies wouldn't feel as good.

  • Harry Potter's got the invisibility cloak ;) It's true there is more than one in the HP universe, but I am 68% sure that Harry is the descendant of the third brother, since he gained the cloak from his father. Probably a tradition^^

The second gift is probably something voldemort is after :3

  • @AtheistTabbiChan man its true he was a decentent of harrys mother...

  • @GreenLord100 guess where the stone is if u havent read the book

  • @Retributor16 According to JK, the stone was left in the Forbidden Forest and never found again, she imagines a centaur unknowingly kicks the stone into darkness with his hoof and the stone lies there forever.

  • @genelin1995 nope :)

  • @GreenLord100 cool! I guessed it without having to read the book XD

  • @AtheistTabbiChan Read the book and you'll understand you'll know u are 90% correct.

READ ppl!! I IS FUN!! The original is waay better than the movie :) the only thing missing is the awesome music ;)

  • @AtheistTabbiChan there are other invisibility cloaks but harry's one is the only perfect one, the others have some sort of defect :p

  • @AtheistTabbiChan 1st book, the Philosopher's Stone

  • There is more than one cloak but there isn't ANY cloak that is invincible like Harry's cloak is. Also, invisibility cloaks get old and turn useless with time. Harry's cloak was given by his father and still works perfectly.

You can be 100% sure. :)

  • @AtheistTabbiChan

The second gift is the phylosopher's stone, who has been destroyed at the end of the first book. The first giftis the elder wand, whose Voldemort is looking for

  • @gingyamano94 The second gift isn't the Philosopher's stone. It's the resurrection stone which was in Marvolo Gaunt's ring which Dumbledore hides in the snitch that he gives Harry.

  • @gingyamano94 Actually the second gift is not the philosophers stone, its the resurrection stone. Also, If you remember the end of the deathly hallows part 1 film -Voldemort now has the elder wand, which he stole from Dumbledore's (the previous owner) tomb. Dumbledore, in turn, became owner of the elder wand after he defeated Gellert Grindewald! I'm guessing that you have not read the books!

  • @SiobhanEdelweiss

I know the story. I just messed up with the names of the stones. I didn't say anything about the elder wand because I didn't want to spoil the story for anyone

  • @AtheistTabbiChan Not at all, the second gift only brings back those already dead, voldemort cares not about the dead in any way. He wants the wand more than anything.

  • @AtheistTabbiChan

He is, the book confirmed it.

Most of the cloak's effects would have worn off but Harry's still worked and he even commented on how old it is.

  • @AtheistTabbiChan read the book dammit and u will be sure.

  • @AtheistTabbiChan He is and voldemort is distaly related to harry

  • @AtheistTabbiChan not to mention the youngest brother grave wasw in Godrics Hollow, whre Harrys parents lived

  • @AtheistTabbiChan No i'd say there's only that one cloak in the Harry Potter-vers, and true Harry are the descendant of the third brother... or he has got some kind of connection to him, if not...

  • @c17h35o16 Negative. When Harry got the cloak, Ron informed him that they were "Rare". He was aware of the Peverell Story, and if there was only one invisibility cloak would be alot more amazed. So there are more, but as I hear, Harry's is the only perfect one. The others all have flaws.

  • @AtheistTabbiChan Voldemort was never after the Stone. In fact, he was so ignorant to it's power, that he made a Horcrux out of it...
