I love runkeeper, it's fantastic for tracking my runs etc. but what I love it you can create these things call street teams with your friends and then you can check in on them and see how their doing, send encouragement etc
Have you ever used Fooducate? You scan the barcode of the food and it gives you a grade on how good it is for you, and gives your some alternatives that are healthier!

@misscatherine251 I do run with it. I had an armband but recently lost it. I'm always wearing a jacket when I run these days so I put it in my pocket. I can't hold it with my hand, it is too annoying :/

@designerproductions I try to use LoseIt but it never has the foods I eat and is a pain - I have both but find myfitnesspal is more user friendly. Then again, I haven't updated LoseIt in 6 months since I didn't like it.
@SarahsFabChannel Loseit has a cool new feature where you can scan the barcode of an item and it finds the nutritional info. It has made using the app so much better. =)

@LLROCKS23 There is one called itreadmill i think or similar - I have only used it on the ipod touch and it was not great. It since has received positive reviews, so I would assume it has improved. worth a try since it is free i believe.

Lolo trainer is awesome too, its for the treadmill & elliptical. It works with intervals according to your info & works with music & the speed of the music matches up on the speed your going and you can do it outside or on the treadmill it tells you how fast to go or/& the elevation & switches up the workout every time.

@iloveyou58121 I love @livestrong and that sounds about right for your size - I would round up to 1200 and if you are exercising feel free to add 200 calories. I love the TIU program - that is what I follow personally, the link to the plan is in the more info!

8tracks App for iphone is great for finding new workout playlists.
The company started as a webpage, and it basically allows normal people to put their favorite playlists of different themes and genres. If you search for themes like "runnin", "workout", "sweat", "fitness" etc. you'll get other ppl's playlists! It's a great website and wonderful App to have!

@2012maritza good for you! motivate yourself with small term goals to be healthy, that's key. Educating yourself is the #1 thing I can recommend. I started about a year & some months ago reading up on how I can get healthy, what exercises worked the best for me, switching things up not to get bored & lost 50lbs so far. Surround urself with ppl who support you 100%. Small steps makes the biggest changes & how i've learned from Sarah "change is uncomfortable". Good luck :) - Ashley
