  • I'm 12,101 pounds and my bmi is 17.5. I feel insecure about my weight should I?

  • @MyKewi You should definitely NOT feel like you're overweight, if that's what you mean - 17.5 is underweight. A healthy BMI is 18.5-25. I'm not sure if by 'insecure' you mean you feel fat or too skinny, but either way I'd say the best thing to do is get into some sports or exercise and try to build up some muscle. It doesn't take much - 108 lbs is in the healthy BMI range. And of course eat lots of healthy foods to help you stay energized and help your body grow properly :)

  • i've been so disappointed with myself recently.. i've fallen out of my healthy eating habits completely. As a teenager, it's just a lot harder to do everything by myself and my mom doesn't help me at all. i'm not trying to make excuses, but it's just kind of difficult.. :/

  • @thatkidevan you know, that is hard. but any step in the right direction is good, so just start again with what you can, and the longer you stick to it the easier it will be to keep taking more steps. And the fact that you've started eating healthier as a teenager is such a huge step that you can carry with you and go even further later on in life. The only way you can fail is if you stop trying :) ... and that will be my last corny line of the day ;)

  • @healthyvegan haha... it definitely is hard... but i try my best. and i work 3 days a week after school too until 9.. so that makes it even a little bit more difficult.. but after i get out of high school, i plan on going to a holistic culinary school and find a school to study nutrition.. that way i can be healthy all the time and help others too.. :]
