  • awesome info! thanks :D

  • love the choice of music haha

  • i like the technique when you leave the fillet attached to the tail and and skin it on the spot.. saves a little time..

  • Wow!!! that's called a real PRO.

  • these are my fav saltwate fish to catch

  • This video...it pleases me. I will try this next time I fillet some fish.

My favorite part was at the end when he folded the remains up and put them under the table. hahaha

  • Fish: HELP ME!!!!!!!!!

U: Im hungry by just watching this.

  • finally, a fillet video demonstrating the easiest way.

The other videos get the job done......but wow, some peoples tactics are insane.

  • makes me hungry just watching it

  • Yea me too I should try that out instead of cutting the fillet and do it the hard way

  • i love those snapper

  • mmm my favorite mangrove snapper i belive

  • looks yummy!

  • Hey I really liked your video. Nice istructions for beginners. Your fileting allowed me to get the most meat out of my fish compared to other's ppl vids. THANX!

  • good video. but with some of the smaller fish you have there, you know that its easier just to cut the head off, degut it, and scale it right?

  • i can fillet any typ of fish in the world even stingray

  • man the guy boning sux...

  • That's pretty cool, because he leaves absolutely no meat on the fish. But like the other guy said, he brings the knife towards himself.

  • I've done thousands of fish without incident. Being left handed i just find it easier cutting that way... but yeah... valid point. Generally try to go across infront of my body, but sometimes it may come towards. Thats one of the main reasons I wear a glove... to control everything. Thanks for the comment.

  • haha

    where i work

we cut the head off, its soo much easier and quicker

    loseres

  • you guys make it seem harder than it really is!

  • nice video, good mess o'fish as we like to say

  • I like your Dad's style. However, as a damn American, I of course don't like the final separation of filet and skin, wherein he brings the knife towards his body as opposed to away from the body (camper safety tips!). Best Regards,

  • Hey, thanks for your comment. :)Good point. He hasn't cut himself so far though... so thats lucky. Check out our other vids. I've just posted one of a coral trout if your interested.

  • Awesome vid - great choice of music :)
