The important factor in this study is the efficiency in creating a trans formative/paradigm shift in the makeup of her psychological thinking. If the ending result is positive, then why not? There are far more medications on the market that cause far more damage to the body than this one.
ALL OF HIS PATIENTS wanted a second dose. Damn straight they did. It is time for the "moral majority" to remove their heads from their asses and realize the value of the Psilocybin mushroom. Nothing in nature is an accident. Psilocybin is a gift from God.
Give them cannabis.. high concentrated hemp oil.. it will cure them. look it up it's true. watch Run from the Cure the Rick Simpson Story on youtube, you can also google pubmed and type in cannabinoids and cancer to see research studies on the subject
In the 60's Timothy Leary nearly changed the world with his psilocybin experiments. A harvard professor who was later screwed by U.S government after his experiments where changing the way people think and view the world. The psycolgiest was looking for anything, to prevent a nuclear holocaust. He later found psilocybin to open up dormant parts of the brain. A study of his cut prison return rates from 70% to 10%. He also used the pill form of psilocybin with many of his experiments.
@DeadlyCapGun Exactly, Timothy Leary was screwed over by the government and media and now years later we are using the very same method as he did for psychological treatments today. It's sad but also hopeful that in a pool of government propaganda and false drug hatred, there are some that still see the potential for medicinal uses of psychedelics.
i can imagine a bunch of people spending hours in front of their microwaves hoping to get cancer so they can legally take pyschadelic drugs and see all the pretty rainbows and crystals in their minds.
@MaladaptiveCatalyst southpark episode did it lol ... weed was legalized and they were like we have to get cancer? thats dumb.. lol then stan's dad breaks his microwave and sticks his balls in and gets the weed lol the whole towns men follow this idea lol.. good episode ... buffalo soldier ... in the heart of america lol
When she talks about her experience, she light up like a bulb! This proves money is not the path to happiness. Its emotions, memories, and experiences.
what 'health benefits' and research do they have to find and do with this? the way i see it, it's plainfully obvious without all the scientific bullshit. they're simply legally administering drugs to them tomake them forget/enjoy life since theyre about to die. simple as that and i'm all for it. its not like they need to actually research anything, we all know they make you feel great.
@jreed136 please give me some insight than. and dont get me wrong, im not hating at all, i said its great. just saying what actual benefits other than the awesome trips are there??
@KuostA Go research it yourself dude. Google is a wonderful thing. There's tons of medical applications that herbal remedies can provide, but never will thanks to demonetization stemming from the government and pharmaceuticals.
@KuostA I think, as with most psychedelics the experience is a bit on the subjective side, meaning it is sorta co-created by your past experiences, your dreams/imaginations of the future, negative or positive they may be. everyone has slight variations of these "subjects" of experience, so no one is going to profess the same results every time. Generally if you aren't very faint of heart and have a good grasp on reality, the experience will most likely be positive.
Yeah but how do you avoid a bad trip? That is the problem with theses drugs they can put you in bliss or in hell.. its a coin flip. Just give 'em really high grade pot and call it good.
i did mushrooms once. I didn't feel so good, so a friend called the ambulance. they brought the police along. now i am registered as a drug user for 4 years, if the police doesn't "forget" to erase the record.
This is interesting. Just this past week there was another news report about psychedelics in the mainstream media. I'm glad the taboo was lifted from psychedelic research.
These people are dying. Give them access to EVERY drug known to man. Coke, weed, meth, acid, shrooms, ecstacy, heroine, etc., etc. What do they have to lose? DRUGS(not weed and shrooms) DESTROY LIVES NOT DEATHS!!!!

I'm happy that this helped her in a way. I wish more people were aware of the benefits that psychedelics can bring.

chopping up videos like this and putting it on prime time TV is dangerous because it can, and will, be misinterpreted.
however, it is nice to see psychedelics portrayed in a bright and helpful manner.

How wonderful that the mainstream is finally embracing the potential of psychedelic medicine.

@KuostA I suggest you look up the health effects of psychedelics before you go ranting or raving about how there's no health benefits.

Perhaps magic mushrooms could have helped those poor Typhus victims. Search the web for:
"One Third of the Holocaust"
and watch Episode #10 of the Buchenwald series. Cheers!

@RunLemmingRun ..Well it works...Too bad no one prayed when the Holocaust happened and the plague...It takes a certain amount of FAITH as well.
