  • Someone pillaged an E. S. Posthumous album for trailer music again. ;-))

  • 0:45 Caesar?

  • @Dabxgunna21 no ... thade

  • See this is why i don't trust Apes.

  • Rise of the Planet of the Apes is a REBOOT of the series. This movie has no connection to it.

  • tell me if im making any sense

to those that saw Rise of the planet of the apes

my theory is that .-. the guy from this movie went in space

then he traveled in time trough those black wholes

MEANWHILE on earth " Rise of the planet of the apes" happened

and when he returned home he went to the future as if it was the continuance of " Rise of the planet of the apes"

  • @juliug Do you remember in Rise of the Planet of the Apes... There was a TV report saying that there was a mission to mars... And then about half the movie later there was a person reading a newspaper that said lost in space... Well Astronaughts went on a mission to mars and went through a wormohole that spat them out 2000 years later... So the guy in this movie is not the guy in Rise of the Planet of the apes... He's a different dude... None of the characters are the same... Hope that helps :)

  • @96JWillis i never meant to say its the same character i was just making a connection between the movies

but your info helps me understand the story even better thank you

  • @juliug This is not the real movie this one sucks dick. The real one is from 1968. Also in rise of the planet of the apes humans die from diesese in the real one it was nuclear war.

  • Rennet at the end the pilot who carried the virus went to new York were it spread killing humans and making apes smarter

  • They should make a new planet of the apes to Match the graphics of rise of the planet of the apes

  • I came here cause I watched Rise of the Planet of the Apes. Now I MUST watch this!

  • @linkinpao Dude, skip this one, watch the original 5 movies from the 60s and 70s.

  • No, this movie should actually be like sequal to the rise of the planet of the apes.

On the rise of the planet of apes notice that spaceman gone lost in space in one newspaper, well that's the guy, so he must have actually fell in to the real planet Earth, but just with a time difference. And with that time, everything changed.

My point is, this is deffinetly not 500 years before the rise of the planet of the apes, this is actually 500 or more years after that!

  • will there be a planet of the apes remake in like 2013? and how the hell does rise of the planet of the apes connect to this? this must be like 500 years before the rise of the planet of the apes.....

  • Uhhh help me Dr. Zaius!

  • This looks good.

  • they should remake this movie as a sequel or prequel or w/e to rise of the planet of the apes...

  • wat part does Tom Felton play??

  • CUAL ES LA DIFERENCIA ENTRE UN SIMIO Y UN NEGRO???? NINGUNA!!! JEJEJEJEJE....XD

  • @miguelexim Qual é a diferença entre seu cérebro e o de um símio? Nenhuma.

What's the difference between your brain and an ape's brain? None.

  • so in ROPOTA, when that spaceship that got "lost in space", wuz that mark walbergs spaceship that went into another dimension thus creating Planet of the Apes (2001)?

  • @sausagecakess2010 I think it was the ship from the 1969 version that got lost in space.

  • @killerman8886 doubt it cause in escape from planet of the apes the us government said "Did you know conneol taylor" to Cornelius and Zira

  • @RadiationUpdatez And they said yes, so it is the 1968 version.

  • Caesar is home....(music goes) *Caesar runs and climbs tree* EPIC!

  • Although its the 2001 remake which was an awesome remake they atleast had real people dressed as apes and not all cgi thats all..

  • just saw rise of the planet of the apes.......only watched this trailer to listen to ceasar again.

  • I seem like the only person who enjoyed the movie for what it's worth; A movie about the world taken over by apes. People were too harsh on this movie. Don't take it so seriously and just enjoy it. Rise of the planet of the apes was what I expected it to be as well; FUN but not to be taken seriously. I can't wait for the next movie.

  • sorry people i meant could instead of good

  • if apes evolved from men, how the hell good the humans talk?

  • @joker45186 omg some did you watch the film '_'

  • is caesar the leader of the apes?

  • @DERFVEDA watch rise of the planet of the apes

  • @DERFVEDA He was the original leader of the apes or something like that. A reference in the fourth Planet of the Apes movie says so, but I think that the 2001 version has a completely different storyline .. :)

  • I'd say this remake was better than the original in my opinion.

  • Why was a remake intended? There was nothing wrong with the original, the original was a classic, and this is actually a lot worse the the original, if you can't remake it then, don't.

  • MR. ORANGE!

  • there is no Caeser in here.. It is Thade...

  • sad thing is it took me 11 years to realize how epic this movie was.

  • Ceaser aint in this Film,, Along with any of his other friends in Rise of the Planet of the Apes. Ceaser had to have died off, He just began the Revolution but like Humans they evolved in to something Evill! ;)))

  • @raddderz haha that movie was amazing just watched they could have easily made that movie another hour or so

  • Lol, the apes seem so easy to kill in this one. If these were anything like the apes in Rise, no human could ever hope to fight back.

  • rise of the planet of the apes was just good...not great.

  • Thought this film was a disgrace to the movie franchise...

  • anybody know whats the name of the song at 1:33-2:00?

  • I think rise of is a billion time better than this

  • rise of the planet of the apes is awesome

  • Its fuckin maurice! LOL

  • marky mark!

  • ceasar is the leader of the apes, with the gray beard

  • @STRAWHATKILLER no he isnt ceaser isnt in this film they are desendants of ceaser this is years after ceasers time

  • @matdenward What are you talking about? None of these apes are desendants of Caesar. Caesar doesn't exist in this universe.

  • Why the fuck does Michael Clark Duncan need Ape makeup? He alread has a face of a ape, waste of mkaeup effect money BURTON!!!

  • The monkey made this movie and thought it was good. While we made the rise of the planet Apes.

  • this movie was awesome, the monkeys and especially tim roth was really awesome in this movie!

  • I think I must see this movie.

  • i wonder which one is ceasar

  • @azim2k10 none of them are ceaser they are all desendants of ceaser gd film worth the watch u find out all this by end of the film

  • Planet of the Apes (1968) Epic masterpiece

Rise of the Planet of the Apes (Very good reimaging)

Planet of the Apes (2001) I stuck in the microwave to watch it sizzle.

  • This trailer makes this movie look so awesome....and yet, it wasn't.

  • Tim burton is so pathetic he takes brilliant ideas and old movies and remakes them into pathetic garbage im surprised any actor wants to even be in his films

  • @Quadzilla1968 I kmow fuck him, he also ruined Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory.

  • it's Tim Roth? no way!

  • I only watched this just to see if i figure out Caeser is? And it didn't help one bit.

  • @MrBallzacSniff Caeser was the first mutant/intellegant ape. This takes place way in the future, he is long dead.

  • @MrBallzacSniff In the fourth planet of the apes film I think it is, there is a reference that Ceaser was the leader of the original troop of apes and that his first words were "NO!". I found this out by going to the "extras" menu on The Rise of the Planet of the Apes DVD. I don't think Ceaser is in any of the other films though, but there is that reference in the fourth film :) Hope this helped!

  • @MrBallzacSniff Caeser was the first of them. did you really think he would be in a movie wich is plased 2000 years after?

  • @MrBallzacSniff Sometimes, I wonder why we don't sterilize the retards.

  • I'm sorry but Tim Roth was the only good thing about this movie.

  • The ending is so sad!

  • @MrFarmernerd The ending is like a never ending nightmare, lol.

  • Just watched Rise of the Planet of the Apes. Really great movie

  • i like how the trailer shows everything that happens

  • @estagonandfire Look on the bright side, u don't have to watch the movie, which sucks donkeyballs :)

  • I don't know why you guys compare this to 2011 version lol, 2011 is a prequel to this, not a remake. It has a completely different story. It sets up the foundation for this film

  • @hacksign000 they cant remake a remake lol

  • @hacksign000 No, the 2011 film is a prquel to the 1968 version. The director of rise of the planet of the apes specifically said he is ignoring tim burton's film altogether

  • @taharker but isnt ceaser introduced in the 4th movie

  • @TheWanabePowerRanger He was introduced in the third. As a baby at least.

  • @taharker Where did he said that?

  • To be honest, i think this one was better than all of them apart from the 1968 version (haven't seen the newest one yet!)

  • never enjoyed this one. Original flick all the way, Rise was pretty sweet though. but this one isnt ape worthy.

  • Pompeii soundtrack!!!

  • I loved this movie as a child. Still thinks it's awesome and alot better than rise of the planet of the apes.

  • 1:55!!!

  • I remember seeing some cast and crew interviews when this came out, and even THEY were confused as hell as to the timeline of this movie, so... Doens't make much sense.

  • Is rise of the planet of the apes of 2011 like a prequel of this?

  • @topografer yes

  • @topografer fuck no.

  • Luke Skywalker = Lord Vador

Caesar = General Thade..? Who knows :D

  • Whos Caesar?

  • @manuelsaeenz the ape that says "kill them all"

  • @TheLockis

No, that's General Thade, Ceasar is the ape from Rise and Conquest of the apes.

  • @windowsVD ok!! im confuse jajajajaja... thanks

  • @windowsVD And Battle for the Planet of the Apes.

  • a man who extended rome magurly

  • @manuelsaeenz none of them are ceaser

  • @manuelsaeenz Watch Rise of the Planets of the Apes.

  • @manuelsaeenz its the monkey on the bew movie hahahaha

  • @manuelsaeenz read the book

  • @manuelsaeenz hey is the monkey who started the revolution of all the monkeys. Watch the new movie rise of the apes and u will understand

  • @manuelsaeenz ceaser is the main ape from the new one its crazy how htey made them fit

  • @manuelsaeenz When the little ape land in the final

  • THE STORIES CONNECT

  • @PriestcheesVideos They dont! Sorry.

  • @PriestcheesVideos How did all the modern world civilizations disappear in few decades ? Ceasar still lives in the 2001 movie and it looks like its been alot more years further. that is one big thing that doesnt connect at all.

  • @playnite How they dissapeared? The ALZ-113 killed everyone. The ceasar thing, I don't know. :/

  • @PriestcheesVideos Two different stories mate. This shitty Tim Burton remake isn't in any storyline. Rise is considered as the first of a new trilogy/prequel to the original movie/remake of the fourth movie.. Either way this shit doesn't count towards anything

  • @playnite Thats General Thade, not Caesar

  • the new ape movie is not sick u moron.. it more logical and base on scientific idea.. the movie tell you the beginning of apes revolution.. not just war between apes and man... u r sick man ... LOL :P

  • the new Ape movie (2011) is fuckin sick!

  • LOL..bet tim roth wishes he took the harry potter( snape ) roll besides this one..=p

  • This movie was released a day before my birthday

  • they should just give them all bananas, and it'll be a planet of happy apes =]

  • the planet of the mother fuckin apes ...bitch

  • why still are retared apes

  • Where is King Kong???

  • @LookMaNoBrains His dynasty lasted from 2314-2327 when rebellion rose from his defiant son, Prince Kong. Both him and his wife, Queen Kong were beheaded after a bloody defeat in the, "Middle of butt fuck nowhere" dessert.

It's page 238 of your textbook.

  • This is much better than fucking version of this year...

  • FUCK THANE

    ALL HAIL CAESAR!!!

  • YOU SYMBOLIZE HOPE

  • I like this take on it because it is more fantastical but the other one Rise of the Apes is more sci-fi so for a fan of both it's win-win for me. Though Rise is a kind of prequel reboot I think, sorry if I'm wrong but I likes' both.

  • @altman0005 Rise is a prequel

  • @iamobeliskquake Actually, it is a prequel reboot. A pre-boot? Anyways, it's not in the same timeline as the '68 version, sorry.

  • This caesar is scary

  • BTW, I liked the orangutans the most. Gorillas and chimps less comical sentient life forms than orangutans. They were hilarious.

  • The movie says throughout that the planet is uninhabited and they populated it with the on-board apes and humans. Then again where did the horses and other animals come from? I know the original was just a ruined Earth (Statue of Liberty scene) but I had the impression this was different.

  • *possible spoiler*

Is this really on earth? Thade hides in the ship at the end, but then later Wahlberg's character comes back to earth that Thade took over? To me it seemed that Thade investigated the ship and found a way to go back further in time to Earth around the Civil War period. He replaced Lincoln and became the liberator of apes. I thought it was a pretty cool ending. I haven't seen the Rise movie yet.

  • @Gamebox27 No, the film did not take place on Earth. At the end, yes it did. ofc.

  • @Gamebox27 Wait nevermind, I'm confused too, I can't seem to find anything to confirm did the whole thing took place on Earth or not? So far, the ending did took place on Earth, and so far what seems to me is that, yes the film did also took place on Earth as well, just that Thade was trap on the spaceship and figure out how to travel back in time I guess.

  • @Gamebox27 Okay, I finally got it now. No, it did not take place on Earth. You can tell by that planet having 2 moon. I research it, they say it's not on Earth, only the ending was on Earth that Thade figure out the spaceship and went back to the past, locking on to Earth since the spaceship is connected with Earth, and there he revolt with the apes and change history.

  • the apes probably cured the disease?

  • CEASAR IS FUKING BOSS

would knock any mothafucka lights out!

  • where is Sun wukong?

  • No Cornelius or Zira??? :(

  • Where's Caesar?

  • also.. i see a lot of questions "where is ceasar".. This film was based in the future.. ceasar is dead. Unless he found a way to obtain eternal life..

  • rise of the plannet of the apes was MUCH better than this.

  • @Fade2Dark Agree a lot with you... my only concern is that they may create a sequel based on this (future) story! ;)

  • @JaniksKey95 I sure hope so :O

  • Ceasar dislike this 64 times

  • Curious, this movie has Bellatrix Lestrange, and the 2011 version has Draco Malfoy...

  • mission to mars failed in rise of the apes, and they go to the future when human already slaved by apes in this movie

  • this movie was sooooooooo horrible. the 2011 version is a hell of a lot better!

  • The funny thing is, the human managed to crash the jets two times while the monkey just simply landed it.

  • One question, where do apes get horses?

  • @Stronginthebrain ... the same place humans got them from???

  • @DemonicGenocide ...humans has stolen horses from apes, but we don't know where do apes get it...

  • @Stronginthebrain WTF are you talking about? ITS EARTH! they get the horses from the wild. just like we do.

  • @Stronginthebrain one answer, same place humans do

  • 0:57 ITS Michael Jackson! :O

  • @xDussix Looks more like janet jackson.

  • @xDussix its 0:55 pause exactly there. i swear.

  • @xDussix Looks more like Janet jackson

  • what is the song in the trailer

  • ceaser is home

  • where is caesar in this first movie?

  • @volikoto This is hundreds of years into the future compared to when the apes became intelligent and most other human life was killed by the virus.

  • @VVarHawk5oldier oh thanks... so what planet do the apes in this movie live?

  • @volikoto ... same planet we live on. Earth

  • @VVarHawk5oldier what?! then what planet did Captain Leo came from?

  • @volikoto also in the rise of the apes.. youll see that theres a news that the trip to mars failed.. and this is that..

  • Oh, I remember this trailer. I was so hyped.

    What a disappointment...

Luckily this year we god a great Planet of the Apes.

  • GET ME THE SPACE MAN! lol so original!

  • who is caesar?

  • @HijaDeAradia watch the movies, and you will find ou who is caesar

  • after Rise of the planet of the apes I just wanna become a chimp and fuckin make a revolution against this fucked up world
