4th round, Griffin got nailed, brought Rampage down, got him in a triangle, and controlled the fight once again. Held his wrists, kept the fight at his pace, and got to his feet. 5th round, pretty much a brawl. My final scores are, based on the amount of control

The fact is, Forrest consistantly controlled the fight. First round, he was in control, got knocked down, but controlled rampage and kept himself from taking too much damage. Second round, leg kick, and complete domination on ground. He didn't cause damage, but still controlled the fight, which is a huge part of UFC and their point system. Round 3, Half way through, Rampage started picking up the pace, his leg healed over, but Forrest was aggressive first half, and still faught second half-

While it is true that knockdowns give you a 10-8 score in boxing, it is also true that knockdowns are viewed similarly in MMA. Joe Rogan refers to it often in his commentary. Many matches with knock-downs have had 10-8 rounds as well.

However, your scoring shows that it was a draw and I am willing to accept that the match was a draw. But Griffin only won one of the 5 categories in MMA scoring and that was octagon control via his aggressiveness. Rampage won that match.

I was at the fight to and all i seen was forrestthrowing plenty of kicks when he boxed rampage he was hit hard and often! Also forrest had one round where he had rampage controlled on the ground! All the other rounds were even or rampage was dominate on the ground! The leg injury to me stood out so much that the refs were biased!

In all honesty I can see where, the judges gave Griffin the win, however I think it's bull. Yes, the UFC is based on a point system, BUT Octagon control, fight control etc. is part of the point system. Watch the fight, Forrest injured him but could not finish the fight or dominate him on the ground. Forrest is suppose to be a ground fighter, last I check Rampage isn't. I like both fighters, but facts are facts. Forrest landed great shots, Rampage had more knock downs and controlled the fight.

I was at the fight...Forrest W O N this fight fair and square...you people have to remember, the UFC goes by a Point System..and while Rampage knocked Forrest down 2 or 3 times and hit him harder than vice versa, Forrest had a LOT more punches and kicks in than Rampage did...Forrest connected a lot more shots..he received more points..Hence, a victory.

At best, it was a draw 47-47 with the second and fourth going to Forrest and Round 2 being 10-8 Forrest. Rampage didn't bring it in the Championship rounds and he played Forrest's game...never leave it to the judges, that's why he lost.
