  • beautiful. i adore this.

  • The crash....almost cried D:

  • oh man, this was BEAUTIFUL!!! *tear

  • WOW...just WOW....fantastic stuff.

  • don't read sub u can understand it

  • very sad >_<

  • Hanging out with those musicians? He could be doing worse for himself if that's the roughest crowd he hangs with.

  • I cant stand these things too sad

  • Surfing around Youtube checking funny commercials from Thailand, laughing my lungs out, checking this one out and... O crap i wasnt ready for this one, took all my manly metalhead image to hold my tears from flowing freely.

  • the fuck is wrong with these ppl i swear if my nephew saw his hi would cry his eyes out.....and i dont want that

  • FUCK YOU /v/

  • Whatever ad firm made this commercial is super-talented.

A whole, touching life story told in 1:30 min. I am very impressed.

I'd love to know if they're still making commercials today.

  • @ferretburger They come out with a new commercial about once a year. Beats me how they can put so much emotion into such a short time, the creators are extremely talented.

  • Oh gosh that made me cry Q_Q A meaningful broken watch meant everything to me loll but seriously, that was very sad

  • the lorry driver go to death row alr if that father die

  • slom-mo capture of broken watch never been this meaningful.

  • This isn't really about second chances. One of the things about that company is that it uses 'treasure your life' as part of why you should have life insurance. This just kind of amplifies that point, although it doesn't really make practical sense.

Most of our commercials are pretty good, though. I was really WTFed when I saw the American ones for the first time, lol.

  • I just started crying and laughing at myself for crying at the same time and i felt numb all over. I've never had this happen to myself before.

  • When he hit the truck it scared the shit out of me.

  • 8 person disilke this because they never have a "Father" in they live

  • OMG, this is so deep and meaningful. I'm jealous of the Thai, the insurance commercials we get here in America is just a bunch of Cavemen standing around saying how much they're offended by everything.

  • So, I don't get it. If he would have bought this insurance he wouldn't crash his car and make it to the concert, he would be invulnerable or what? Thai insurances fixes your lifes mistakes?

  • @wolfspider1986 Made me lol

  • @wolfspider1986 no but the insurance leaves behind something for your loved ones. Insurance for your life, basically. Shit like this happens in life, you know

  • @broverKeyes But it still won't make things better between the guy and his rock star son, right? So I assume that this ad is a bullshit, that makes insurance sales grow by playing on emotions of people whio watch it, don't you think?

  • @wolfspider1986 I think it is about doing the right thing for your family. Life insurance is just one way of doing the right thing for your family. If you can't be there to express your true love at least you can send the message by your actions, including having cared enough to buy insurance over the years.

The sales pitch is basically "make sure that they know you love them".

  • No air bags?

  • @ualuuanie welcome to thailand, where half of the things u buy dont work

  • The band's name is Concert?

  • I just can't watch this without tearing up... My son is 5 years old... I will make time for him...

  • I just can't watch this without tearing up... My son is 5 years old... I will make time for him...

  • lol and if he had an accident how is the insurance company gonna help??

  • For those rare times, when your son feels like joining a band... Thai Insurance.

  • this made me cry so much....

  • Manly tears.

  • Enjoy the commercial but Ignore the Insurance

  • this was a beautyfull commerical

every company can learn something from this

  • Omg. That was totally unexpected. N so sad.

  • TOTALLY CRIED.

  • :( sad

  • There's no second chance in real life, get over it.

  • I miss my dad now.

  • This is more of a parenting PSA than an effectime life insurance commercial.

  • holy crap that was a loud crash

  • This gets me everytime I watch it.

  • American Insurance commercials can't touch this level of emotion.

  • @hivecluster5 you really think so? it just wouldnt appeal to the interest of american culture.

  • @hivecluster5 Correction American commercials AND movies don't touch this level of emotions

  • Comment removed

  • Fucking insurance company???

  • this made me break down into tears like seriously theres loud talking and cooking (cuz my family is asian) and i start crying like crazy and they're all staring at me.

  • There needs to be some sort of award that this has won.

  • Agh....just that scene where he's hit by the car...it caught me off guard, and tears just streamed...

Amazing commercial. It's amazing how well commercials are made by Thai Life Insurance :]

  • watching this commercial was more life-changing to me than watching James Cameron's Avatar.

  • @TheOrangePoet to add to that, a minute and a half commerical is more powerful to me than a three hour movie.

  • Oh god, a chill went through my whole body and I was so close to crying. These commercials are so amazing.

  • Oh, yes indeed..."Life is long." "There will be plenty of time to deal with that next week, or next year."

A really thought-provoking piece of video.

  • holy shit that came out of no ware

  • I Cried so hard

  • Oh god damnit ;-;

  • OMG i made it! I teared up for every one of these except for this one! yes!

  • i agree with antar T_T

  • my aunt works there xD

  • I actually teared

  • @Man L2 Drive

    @Car L2 Airbag

  • That really got to me, damn, I didn't cry but I sure got choked up.

  • Well...

Thai Insurance commercials were usually maked nothing about what are they trying to sell. They just want to make a short movie about life that's all.

Maybe because of this company is the best insurance company so they don't have to commerce what are they offering. just make the commercial to be something that is attracting your feeling.. to memorize it..

Or maybe to be Talked of the town...

  • Hey... take a look around... nobody is commenting here if the insurance is good anyway... we are all focusing on the story. I give a fuck about the thai insurance... but the commercial is very simple, true and has a message that can heal minds...

They did want to make a short movie about life... they did it good.

  • what the hell

The dad first asks for more time but in the end it was all about a stupid life insurance. Life insurance does not = time. But anyway the short story was kinda good though.

  • I don't understand how life insurance will give him more time or save his life. This commercial is better suited for a healthcare commercial rather than life insurance, which only applies when people die.

  • wtf. This almost made me cry!!! a friggin life insurance commercial

  • ...sniff...

  • i can't stand these commercials.... every single one of them makes me cry T_T

  • Damn... This commercial actually touched me.

    Unlike those stupid finnish ads.

  • the commercial is good, but it has nothing to do with the product their selling

  • The commercial say about opportunity the father has missed to get going with his son. Comparing to someone who should have get a life insurance but miss the opportunity and later can not have the benefit when you get old.

  • yeah .imagine if it said "Got Milk?" at the end lol

  • Wow. This is one of the few commercials that actually give a messatge. I love this commercial!

  • OMG!!!

    That's terrible!!!

  • brenda?

  • These commercials are much better at conveying the message than American ones...

  • omg... this is so sad... T_T

  • INCREDIBLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE =(

  • Oh crap. That one really hit me.

  • i cried so fucking hard

  • that commercial bought tears to my eyes. It's always important to tell someone how you feel about them before it's too late. I know it's just a commercial but it diserves a standing ovation.

  • That was some top notch filmmaking right there, especially for a commercial. These ads could probably make a successful tv series, lol.

  • waaah!!! so so sad...i cant help my tears fall...

  • naw he lives.. i saw him in another commercial, lol.

  • you're funny agnie123!

  • i like to think that he barely survived that crash and became paralyzed in a wheelchair and at the hospital he got to tell his son everything he always wanted to.

  • I love this! It is truly heart warming! I want to know how they did the watch breaking and also the car accident. I LOVE THIS!

  • this makes me wanna give all my money to the insurance company, i mean it :)

  • They need to make a sequel to this commercial. >|

  • Tsk, Bet his tax disc was out of date, so his insurance will be invalid anyways... ;-)

  • how do you down load this video will some one help me

  • I'm sure it's much too late now, but if you have a mac, you can get an add-on for Firefox called Download Helper, which lets you download videos from youtube and a whole bunch of other sites :)

  • What did he drift to the other side of the road or something?

  • SAPPY

  • ;( that's so sad;(

  • yea i love drama but i will never git to see it

  • Go to see what, you fucking clown?

It's a god damned commercial, you yutz.

  • Wow, great idea for a commercial. That was touching!

  • that was so sad... T_T

  • i understand this even without the subtiles

  • What you want, a cookie?

  • the truck colliding with the car is done in 3d and so is the watch . i've read about this ad in a CG related website. its a brilliant work of art

  • uh huh...to watch him get hit by a bus going like 100 miles per hour at him

  • I think it was a truck, and in the city, nothing goes 100 MPH in Thailand...

  • Love this one too!

    T-T

  • absoloute bollox.

  • an insurance ad? so fucking selfish.

  • Thais are constantly winning awards for their TV advertisements. There are award ceremonies for commercials just like there are for movies, and Thais normally take home a disproportionate number of those awards.

  • wow... thats amazing...

too bad american insurrance companies only have a gecko, wierd general, and a cave man... damn...

  • Time to look where the fuck you're going...

  • I actually started crying even before the comercial was over at like after watching about 20 seconds of it. Really powerful.

  • Beautiful piece of art.

  • i don't think his insurance is going to pay out...

  • fantastic..but i prefer another ad in same "Thai insurance"...father and daughter

  • wow.. pretty good.

  • its important to givve love

  • i didnt say that it is! i just recommended to check it out!

But the asian directing style is quite similar in all "asian vision" movies! They really catch the emotions!

  • this is rated very high in my "TOP MOVIES" even if it is under 2 minutes!

    purely amazing!!!!

the asian directors can catch the emotions 1000000 times better than the whole american movie industry has done in decade! AND THEY DO THIS UNDER 2 MINUTES!!!!

I recommend movie OLDBOY to those who like this commercial!

  • lol uh, OLDBOY is nothing like this commercial.

  • that's interesting. i agree its nothing like oldboy, yet for a moment there before i even saw this comment, oldboy had come to my mind

  • @TheKnob : oldboy is a very long version of this commercial :)) and violent :))

  • very emotional.

  • bootyful

  • Sad yeah...but bullshit emotional advertising nonetheless.

  • thai commericals are always fun to watch.

  • *cry* *sob*

  • much better then shitty american comercials i must say.
