  • To the YouTube creator of this video located in channel Koreancusine; Thank for this video ! I can only that maybe someday Korean foods will have a cooking show of there own on the Food Network , Public Broadcasting Station like Create. What I like the most was the slow quick to understand words scrolling across the screen as food was being prepared. quite a few cokking shows on that I see on TV do not always have that. Once again Thanks !! 감사합니다 >> did I get this right ?

  • Thank you for this recipe. It was easy to do and I love the flavor. I grow the dates myself, do you know of any recipes for this dates so that I could use them up? I have so many!!! LOL I love your shows. Thank you again.

  • I grow Asian Dates now and I'm very interested in more recipes using Jujube fruits. I taught myself to make a butter out of fruit and nectar. Are there more recipes that you know of using this lovely date? Please respond. Thank you for the lovely chicken soup too!

  • Hi,bboy0617,

First, removed all the cooking twine from chicken and cut the chicken in small pieces, then eat with the broth.seasoned to taste.

    Have a great week:)

  • I have a stupid question : how do you eat it after? do you dismember the chicken or...

    and your videos are great!

  • but sam gye tang means ginseng chicken soup.. without ginseng, would it still counts as SAM gye tang? or juz gye tang?

  • @wiccanowis maybe you can call it gye tang, but most of Korean don't understand. You rather call it "back sook."

  • great, looks delicious;

maybe the duck gabble at 1:29 is a sign for the next meal ? ^^

    감사합니다!

  • Thank you for the your comment and I wish i can visit to the Korea. I hope you are enjoying making

the samgyetang.Thank you for watching Koreancuisine~:)

  • Thank you so much! I am an American living in Seoul and I love samgyetang - I wanted to make it at home so I picked up a "kit" from E-Mart and now I know what to do with it. Keep up the good work!

  • Thank you for your Samgyetang recipe. and I should try to make your recipe sometime.

Thanks for your comment and Have a great day !

  • You are korean and you do not like the taste of ginseng in sam gye tang ?

    Haha . .

    Ginseng is important.

Well , personally i love american, korean and chinese ginseng recipes.

Sam gye tang is really good on a cold and wet day , i would personally use only a quater of a large chicken.

I would place the ginseng on the bottom with crushed garlic , Goji Berries , Red Dates followed by the chicken last.

Add water and boil vigorously before simmering. Cooking time - only 15 minutes!!

  • that looks very tasty :) i might have to marry myself a korean wife (lol). thanks for this video. :)

  • yummyyyyyyy
