Nice work! Although the waves seem to be a bit too dark, considering the sun is behind the waves. The waves should be set a glow from the angle of the sun. You did a wonderful job of blending and the colors are super wonderful, thank you for showing this!

I think the sound is kinda cute lol no doubt when the music is on its kinda crazy sounding but around 1:58 all you can hear is you blending the pastel and then you blowing dust away! Love the painting I wish you'd do more!

Hi Panacea, On the next painting you paint after filming is there a way to turn the video a 1/4 of a turn to the right? Really enjoyed this but Horowitz playing Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata would be better music. Thanks a lot. I'm just starting to learn pastel art and play Rachmaninoff on the piano so I have the patience to learn this. I still don't know where middle C is using pastels but it will come with practice. I need a very basic video to watch, any suggestions?

Oh yes! Normal pastels and oil pastels are very very good for landscapes! Congrats :) Your drawing is awesome ! My first drawing using pastels was a sunset too XD It was like a beach and the sea and the sky and a black palm tree in the left! XD :) I like the colours! Keep up the good work!

Lauren, get some painters tape from hardware store and mask it off half an inch from the edges to a piece of board. It will help with presentation, with your pastels. Plus the black will be an excellent border for your composition
