Filipino cops need less time at the firing range and more time thinking. Strategizing.. They got used to coming in after the hero has taken care of the bad guy. if the hostage taker is out of his senses, he could have shot all those aboard. But he did not. I say I put the blame on those passengers who tried to be heroes trying to fight the hostage taker but failed. That started the carnage of the peaceful negotiations. Simple as that. @phantomdimtrix One thing to say. That one that was handcuffed and shot was not the driver. It was the tourist guide "Masa Tse, the tour leader whom he handcuffed to at the door handrail earlier" (Source Wikipedia).
Also I would have to agree that this video is not 100% accurate from what I read. It is only a re-enactment based on the information.
Last but not least, we do not hate filipinos, you may only be talking about one chinese but not as a group. We are only angered by the police force

This is unfair for the Philippines and Rolando Mendoza. This video is very exaggerated. I am not taking sides and Rolando did really a big mistake but I must tell you he couldn't do this there were minimal shots and even if you guys say that there was a silencer there are no silencers for the m60. There was one time he was shooting in the window he didn't scatter the shots it was meant for the SWAT and not the tourist inside. This video is too brutal. -Papadu

NICE Rendition but Totally very far from what happened. You see, later after the crisis, there are still a lot of hostages who managed to stay alive, not just the woman on white sweaters. NOT everyone was killed during the random firing. Some were just being wounded with the stray bullets.
