In 1978 Shorty made it to the finals with this ('Who God Bless') and 'Om Shanti' but was disqualified because he did not show up to perform. Shorty evidently was pissed about all the negatives comments that were coming his way from many especially Sat Maraj and his organisation for 'Om Shanti'. Ras Shorty I's death was most untimely, just as he started to make conscious music, and admonish others to do the same he departed. But God knows best, at least he came to consciousness, some people never do. I could imagine what he would have done, had he been with us today, in the physical sense, he is still very much with us in spirit. "Jamoo Victory," is a masterpiece.

Shorty never became conscious (as you are trying to apply) after he left the arena! One is born conscious, brilliant and/or intelligent, these characteristics only have to be awakened. Shorty recorded this song in 1978 and went in de bush in 1981. I 1979 he did an album called We Have Love, 2 singles in 1980 and wrote about 4 songs for others, then there was his metamorphosis!

There are people breathing, walking, talking, eating and they are as dead as can be. I like the word you used, AWAKENED, that is exactly what I meant by consciousness. AD Constantine, ordered his Pope to put together a collection of scripts, the Pope then hired a monk called Jerome & around 384 AD he finished Constantine had already died, so the new Pope published it & called it the Latium Versio aka Scriptures! Jarome became a Saint! I studied the history of the Bible also and Civiliter Mortuus rocked me!

Eventually the word Christ which is an English word came from Karaist. Even wonder why those first Churches (Rome & England) still uses the term Jesus the Christ & not Jesus Christ! Karaist is the Light that is why Christ is the Light! Ever wonder why the word/name JESUS is not in the Old Testament? AWAKE!
