But he's really skilled as a DJ, can rock any party. He's more of a DJ/Turnablist. Seen him live couple of times, and he's just amazin at both styles. Simple awesome!

It IS DJ'ing... in it's highest form (in my opinion).

And it's actually the combination of DJ/turntablist that I like. I can go wild over a decent beatjuggling or a few well placed scratches, but I get bored if it's just that all the time. It's the perfect addition to a DJ'set, a way to put down your own signature on the music.

And that's what I like about Mixmaster Mike, DJ Jazzy Jeff, many others... and this guy :o)

I think it's really only solo DJing that's dead and played out. DJ groups, like Gunkhole, on the other hand, have a bright future. They don't have to worry about always coming up with new tricks, like the solo DJs do. The only thing groups have to worry about is making good music.
