  • the 1977-1980 Toyota Cressida was assembled in

    Toyota City, Japan

  • Awesome, I have the same Cressida as you !:D

Is it hard finding parts like fenders and what not?

  • @ilovesunniva Yes, it most definitely is difficult finding parts for my car. You have to keep a keen eye for the year especially.

  • why the fuck is there a brick on the trunk

  • The trunk flies up. A trunk striker needs replacing.

  • I also love the steering wheel. I'm not against stock. In fact, I love original equipment. But you have to at least try different things on the car as well. Sweet!

  • I got the car with the steering wheel. The knob gets stuck & the horn continously goes off so I'm going to get a similar type (or even the same one) to replace it

  • Nice looking car. I've always loved vintage Toyotas. Any more videos of this car? That'd be awesome!

  • Honestly speaking, I haven't done anything to it since because I have ANOTHER Cressida but I will post some when I do anything to it. :)

  • I have one of these to but a 2 door..

  • I love the color, a lot better than the beige on my '78. :'(

  • What you mean "a lot better"? What's wrong with yours?

  • Beige isn't exactly the ideal color for such an awesome car. :p

  • You stand corrected!

  • haha. By the way, I like the steering wheel. :p

  • Thank you. It's a GT Grant Steering wheel

  • Back in a day my 1979 Cressida had a Toyota 18R-U (4cyl 2.0L) engine with twin S/U carbs 5-speed M/T, 4.1 Rear differential, breaker-less distributor & 15inch JDM Soarer wheels.

    I love these cars!

  • What happened to your '79? What did you do with it?

  • nice from inside

  • my dad had one of these very confy classic cars

  • Which one, do you remember?

  • well, amature question, what is RX32 for ? Great car still, I really like it !

  • MX32 is the chassis code for the vehicle. Thank you :-)

  • I didnt see the car it was jumper cabled to xD that explains it!

  • lol :-)

  • on my 70s toyotas (european), the CHG light only light up when the car is not charging and the belt running the alternator/water pump has snapped or loosened, in other words, when the alternator is not rotating? Is it different for non-EU-models? just wondering.

  • There is a wiring short at the alternator actually and this will explain why the light is on indeed. I'll check it again after I repair the wire. As you can see the power was running from the Corolla in front.

  • The Battery light is on when the baterry need to be charged.

    I have a Cressida too

    Congrats

  • That's correct

  • how long did that sit for

  • It's been sitting since '99. I've owned it since '04

  • whats the CHG light?

    check what?

  • that's a Charge light ... lets you know when the battery is charging

  • or needs to be charged? that one too

god that doesnt even look like a toyota that mst be like what toyota looked like ebfore what they look like today.

  • anytime the battery is charging, that light will stay on until the battery is completely charged

  • some have 4 cyls. and yes, they're all rwd

  • way 2 not show it starting :p and is it an I-6?

  • All Cressida's are Inline 6's, RWD ...

  • ياولد قسمن بالله لو شافوها المكاوية ممكن يوصلون قيمتها لحد 10 الالف

    هههههههههههه
