Well said. You have to make a good argument and state EVERY fact you can when fighting a claim. Trust me i get claims placed on every single movie related video that i do and i fight all of them off and always come out on top. Its annoying, but you can dispute them all. Im actually going to make a video about the subject in the near future in order to help others combat false claims.

Google and You Tube are so worried about a copyright lawsuit that, I believe, they don't even truly review copyright flags anymore. It is probably automated and lacks any judgment for fair use.

It's one thing to protect copyrighted material, its a completely different thing to only worry about protecting your ass.

This needs to change.

I am getting real sick and tired of youtube's not recognizing fair use. Those videos should not have been taken down for anything. They were under fair use and youtube better be careful as they can be sued for this type of bs

I've already started taking down all my old reviews and re uploading them under a new format that prevents automatic flagging from random people. They would have to physically watch my video and go so far as to fill out a dcma claim.

Sony Vegas + Adobe After Effects + new format = no flags as of yet.

Yeah, its definitely is a good idea to change your format to prevent flagging. Personally, Chris and I just avoid putting the trailers in our reviews, 'cause we don't want the review we worked 3 hours on editting, and about an hour writing, to be taken down by lame-o companies and flagged by partners

yup, My batman review recently got taken down, I really liked that review. I guess I can understand cuz I used the batman theme but it falls under parody (fair use) and instead of just maybe slapping that stupid ad to have the option to download the song (which nobody ever does) they take the whole thing down. Now you would think talking so well about their movie would be something they would like.

Yeah, but in the description box we said that it might not be the finished product, which it wasn't. I'm not technically sure if this one is the finished product. Also I added about another minute or so to it, so it's kind of different. The video was made for someone. I'm not going to say who though. There was one part that the person wanted me to talk about, and I added it in.
