  • What a song, I've now heard it 4 times, it'll be on my MP3 soon.

Go 101st Airborne, Best paratroopers in the U.S Armed forces.followed closely by the 82nd

  • just for clarification, this is the 82nd airborne All American Chorus singing, not the 101st.

  • @phishedin1 Actually its the 101st, the 82nd may also sing it, but they have their own "theme song" if you will. Not trying to make arguement, I just wanted to clarify that this was in fact the 101st and not the 82nd. Either way we should all take a moment in silence to remember all of those who lost their lives in combat or from equipment failures. They all deserve it. They are heroes, an they have my respect.

  • @calebstarnes5

This isn't the 101st or 82nd song. Both Divisions have songs. This song is used most often as a cadence, but it really only applies to the 82nd since the 101st aren't paratroopers anymore.

  • @MrPokemonfan231 Stupid. Learn before you speak. He's Canadian

  • @theirondukesboy

Do you have any evidence supporting that claim? The only information I can find about the origins, points to the fact that it was created by the 101st, 82nd, and 173rd airborne during WWII.

  • Sounds gay to me.

  • @TheElephant79

    you sound gay to me

  • Who sings this rendition??

  • its glory not gory

  • @bigfallout3fan101 Not in the original.

  • @bigfallout3fan101

NO, it IS gory, and if you ever saw a man hit the ground from a 1000 feet, you'd realize it exactly the right word.

  • @ManchuDan22 That's why they have this great item of equipment with them during said jump, it's called a parachute. But yes it is gory, not glory.

  • @pwn3dn00b97 Yes, I have 156 US Army Military Jumps, and 16 years on Jump Status. I'm both a Master Parachutist and a Jump Master, I'm AWARE of what a parachute is.

My point was when the parachute FAILS to open (which it can do, I've seen 4 men die on the drop zone), it is a gory death.

By the way, how many Jumps do you have?

  • <3

  • R.I.P. Major WInters.

  • Thanks for posting this. My Dad was 101st in 1959 and he used to sing this song when I was a kid. He's made me promise if I ever join the Army not to volunteer for Airborne, and I asked why. He said "Because you have to be fucking crazy!"

  • guys,

just wanna say that a movie of a game (doens't matter what kind of movie) isn't historic correct! some movies are based on a true story, but it is ALWAYS dramatised!

i agree sad song!! but good lyrics!

  • arent they singing it in the wrong order? ive got the lyrics in front of me...

  • such a stupid song -_-

and alot of people thinks, only the nazis are evil

look at the americans, they killed civilists too like in Korea, vietnam

watch full metal jacket, as the u.s helicopter fly through the farm and they shot all civilist they could hit

my grandpa fought for the nazi's but it doesnt mean he is evil

he was in the waffen ss

and his company said, they think, they fight for the light

soldiers are chessfigures, stop hate german at ww2

they wish could be athome to their family

  • @Copra20 Fuck you, what the americans did during that time was glorious. The glory that you only find on the battlefield's of world war II.

However, you do make a valid point. The nazi's had heroic personalities of their own, and they were a hell of a soldier!

  • @Copra20 Its called Media. Media has always pertained Germans or any Enemy against the nation as "Evil" and "Demonic" Its life. Of coarse a Common German Soldier wasn't evil. He was just doing his service to his country, Just like the common American Soldier was doing the service for his country/ You Can't believe movies. Its all for ratings, most of it.

  • @HBSangelsremorse rimbachfarm

  • @HBSangelsremorse i have to agree with this to be true in some about the german soldiers and some offisers.

  • @bandofbrotherseasyco just wanna know who you are, are you in this picture?? just wondering
