  • This desrved a perfect score. And they were eliminated too early. Also, why dosen't the show have Charleston anymore like the Europeon versian, I liked all of them.

  • I think if Melissa was given the Jitterbug instead of the Waltz the week she was eliminated, she would've stayed.

  • mark is so freakin cuteee<33333 ahahha love himm

  • I just love this dance! lots of fun, very entertainment!! makes me smile!! :D

I was like :O the first time I saw it

  • This is definitely her best dance!

  • So cute! Makes me miss Sabrina the Teenage Witch :)

  • Yeah, I think that this dance suits her better because it is more like her personality, quirky and fun as opposed as sexy and lusty like the samba. This is def one of my most fave dwts dances!!

  • I love the entire dance. I could never dance the Charleston as good as her but, I don't mind. Watching Melissa & Mark dance is worth it.

  • i love mark at 0:37-0:40 =) lol he's awesome

  • I have seen every piece Mark has done, and this Charleston was definately one of his best cherographed pieces he has ever done. It had so much content. They were both AMAZING! It was a great preformance.

  • I agree I would love to see Mark do a Jitterbug, he seems like perfect choreographer for that dance

  • Mark is my favorite pro and cherographer on the show. For not ever doing the Charleston, his face and body were PERFECT! Look at what he got Melisaa to do. She rocked it. Mark is amazing.

  • I think this was absolutely fantastic. Perhaps I got carried away watching Mark's facial expressions which sell the dance even more but it was thoroughly entertaining and showed that Melissa COULD characterize a dance very well. I wish they would introduce dances of this kind on our British version as it would show how different couples adapt to dances out of the comfort zone. Well done M+M. Shocked Aaron & Karina were in bottom 2 though. NO WAY. Still want Donny to win.

  • i think that everyone thinks that melissadeserved 3 10's

    it was that good

takin it back to the 1920s was a great theme for this dance

    i love this guys

  • I thought it deserved altleast two 10's. But still happy with her score. LOVED the black and white beginning.

  • This dance derseved THREE 10's. Love melissa, love the choreography from mark:D

  • yeah that was definitely joey lawrence

  • she is quite charming

  • i don't think thats joey...

  • was that joey lawrence at 3:19?

  • mark is so amazing..you can see his legacy and breeding....

  • i think her score was deserved. she always was good with technique (except her jive) and it was her nerves or a little thing that was present throughout it all that ruined it.

  • it was good but i dont think it was 10 worthy :p maybe 3 nines.. just a bit high!

  • This one is by far my favorit of the night!!!

For me Mark is the best choreographer in this competition. His dances are allways great, completely in harmony with music AND textes. And look the way he's "playing" his part in this dance: not only great dancer but actor too...

And Melissa becomes better and better...

    Vote for them!

  • I think we have a new front runner..

  • Best Charleston of the night!

  • Best dance of the night, in my opinion! Before the show, I was more excited about the lambada, but the charleston people all brought it!

  • awesome job- what an improvement in Melissa's charisma and confidence!! And I LOVE Mark's choreography!!! =D

  • She rocked this dance, and deserved that score. Definitely my favorite dance of the night. Go Melissa!

  • This should really boost Melissa's confidence from a 19 all the way to 28 thats a LOT maybe a bit too much! But, I really liked her Charleston though lot of fun very cute! Mark is so funny

  • i agree i think it was alittle too high, but i'm happy for her

  • It IS a bit high, 3 9s is better

  • I'm pretty sure that's called Black Bottom. It was a popular Charleston song back in the 1920's.

  • The title of the song is "The Charleston," composed by James P. Johnson. It is the song most closely associated with The Charleston dance and helped launch it as a dance craze in the 1920s.

  • Thanks for the info

  • This was my fav of the night. I hope Melissa keeps improving like that cuz she is a great person and I think she has a lot of potential.

  • i agree with you more than ever. you can bet on that! Melissa and Mark are now one of my favorite couples so far! They gotta keep getting 9's and 10's. Let's PARTY with the Charleston dancers! this actually reminded me of Lucille Ball doing the Charleston. funny huh?

  • Love how Lacey's jumping in the back when they got their scores. Good for Mark and Melissa

  • thank you so much for posting this so fast! this was an excellent song with equally awesome choreography.
