3. Folder options, show hidden files, and folder etc. Apply.

4. Now iPod Control folder is visible.

@jakescoots123 Im sorry this is very late. But you click on My computer then you click on Ipod then click TOOLS then folder options then view then you click show all hidden files. Ipod control should be there in a light file to symbolize its hidden. Hope this reaches you hope it helps

nothing fancy i've always known about the hidden folder thing, but only works for ipods as you need to ssh into iphones. Also itunes renames them for security purposes, now unless this method puts the names back to the original titles when you resync, its gonna be annoying to have weird names for your music.

p.s you can alter files on itunes so it syncs to any comp and any idevice

@SchizoSynthFuck i had this problem at first as well, but all you need to do is go to the ipod's screen in itunes and deselect where it says "open itunes when this ipod is connected" or simmilar, then when you reconnect your ipod it should show up in my computer and stay there, at least it did for me

@lilokikimino Try this: put your iPod into Device Firmware Update mode (google it). After you do that, iTunes will probably detect an iPod Touch in DFU mode and download the latest firmware update. TBT, I've never put mine in DFU.

If you wanna do this with VISTA just go to iTunes, go to EDIT, click PREFERENCES. A window will open. LEAVE THIS WINDOW OPEN!! Now plug the iPod in and it will show up in MY COMPUTER.
