I know right, every artist is great in their own way..stop bringing in comparisons of people with negative remarks. Cant we be happy for both their success & thankful for God bringing their music into our everyday lives. Cause for me personally music helps me in so many ways. Helps me to cope with pain or makes feel happy..any occassion the right music can do a lot for you
This song is very classic, I'm already learning all the words. It has a slightly asian feel to it like "in the late of night". I feel like she is really meaning every word she is singing about. I relate to this feeling but unlike Toni, I don't like being in the gray zone of just making due what whatever comes my way based on my own idealized way of how it's suppose to be. To me, if the person isn't reciprocating what I am giving, it is clear they don't feel the way I do, and I move on.
This song proves just how much of a threat Toni is. She isn't just beautiful, the woman sings her heart out. My goodness The way she goes from a somewhat mellow tone during the initial verses to the belting after the bridge all within one song is unbelievable. Her vocal never leaves much to be desired. Sang, Toni!
